Hello friends! I hope y’all had an awesome week and are looking forward to a fun weekend. We’re having a great time in Florida and have settled into a comfortable groove. I’ve lost track of what day it is, which is definitely a sign of a good vacation!
We rented a double-decker pontoon boat with two slides on top yesterday and went to Shell Island. The kids had a blast and the beach was so gorgeous! I’ve never been to this part of Florida before (Seaside) and it’s such a picturesque, family-oriented place. I’ll be sure to share a full trip recap when I get back!

For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS in tops and dresses.
With any outfit that calls for a strapless bra, this is the one I’m wearing. I love it because it has lift, even for larger chests and it stays put with no fidgeting. Fits TTS
SHORTS OUTFITS
I’m happily trying more jean shorts and I have two pair from Old Navy to share with you. They’re the same style- a relaxed fit, high rise with a 1.5 inch inseam. They have a hidden button fly and are so easy to throw on. There’s no distressing on these, just a raw edge trim.
This little polka dot smocked peplum top is so sweet! It’s actually quite comfortable and I’m wearing my strapless bra with it!

Here’s a fun Fourth of July outfit for ya! The red and white gingham top is festive and I like how it has the embroidered bottom. The shoulder straps tie, and there’s even a little tassel at the end. This top would also look great with white jeans.

Old Navy has really good, affordable sweatshirts and I’m drawn to the neutral stripes in this one. If you tend to get chilly, even in Summer, this one’s a good one!

I love this combo of jean shorts and slouchy cable knit sweater. I’m wearing the same Old Navy jean shorts, but in the lighter wash. If I had to pick only one, I think this is the color I’d stick with.
The sweater sold out at Loft, but is restocked and fully available in all sizes as I’m typing this! I’d size up if you want a more relaxed fit.

How about a little tie dye?! I like how this tie dye is subtle in the pale lavender. It’s a relaxed, longer fit and comes pre-tied.

Can’t go wrong with a comfy lounge outfit. The cornflower blue is soothing and the shorts are so comfortable with a perfect fit. They have an elastic waist and functional drawstring. The sweatshirt is super cute with a zip collar and elastic banded waist and sleeves. You could definitely mix these pieces up and wear the shorts with a tank or even as pajamas. The top would go perfectly with jean shorts.

Here’s the top you saw me wearing in my makeup tutorial post. It’s such a lively red with a nod to aztec print. It’s smocked across the bodice, then flares out in a peplum shape.
In the makeup post, I paired the top with blue jeans, but there’s a matching short if you’re a fan of sets. #yesplease
I actually really like the shorts on their own though. They have a front pleat, with a zip front and hook and bar closure. They’re high waisted with pockets.

Same top with white jeans. Lots of y’all have asked for white jeans recommendations and I’ve shared my go-to pair from Amazon, but these are from Nordstrom, and under $90. What I love about this is how opaque they are, not at all sheer. And they feel so soft against your skin. They have a high waist, raw edge hem and are designed with front pockets made to flatter/slenderize your figure.

This blouse can be worn for work or play. It’s on the conservative side with a higher neckline and relaxed fit, but the details are really pretty. It has a stitched texture, flutter sleeve, and crochet paneling.

Oh man, I loved this jumpsuit soooo much, but it’s a bit loose on me! It’s really lightweight and flowy and I love it as a beach coverup! The floral pattern is lovely as are the colors. I adore the dramatic wide leg!

This is a fun, different jumpsuit. With long horizontal stripes, it makes you look taller, but the fun part is that the tie wraps around your back creating a criss-cross and then ties around your waist. It’s super cute from behind!

I also really liked this Old Navy jumpsuit. It’s one of those kind of things I like to throw on in the morning for school drop off. But then, it’s so comfortable, you’ll want to wear it all day.
This one has a knit texture to it with a smocked bodice and pockets. Again, really digging the wider leg.

This is the dress I wore on our couples’ dinner to the steakhouse where I inhaled all.the.desserts! I felt so confident and happy in this bright blue dress and it fit like a glove.

I almost took this dress to Florida, it’s a perfect little vacay dress, but it was too long on me! The spaghetti straps wrap around the back and you can tighten it to your perfect fit.

I asked y’all to vote pink or black on this sassy date night dress and y’all chose pink. I wore it last Friday night to an Italian restaurant with Brian and we had a great time. The material is nice and stretchy, and a thicker knit that you feel secure it. It’s also got a side slit that makes it easy to walk in.

A strappy nude heel gives you legs for days. The top pair is perfect for narrow feet. I kept the bottom pair.

Now that the Fitness Challenge is over, I’m treating myself to some new workout clothes. This pink pair of Zella leggings are darling and fit perfectly with a high waist and crop length.

I scooped up this Zella sports bra and leggings on sale and like the tie dye style for a change. The leggings are high waited, seamless and made with sweat wicking fabric.
