Hi friends! Oh happy day! Today is the LAST day of my 9 week fitness challenge!!! I’ve been at this for 9 weeks, with the goal to get in shape before our trip to Florida. Having a goal like that in mind helped keep me motivated during these last two months. It’s been a long 9 weeks, but also not a long time in the grande scheme of things. That’s what I always reminded myself during the three years of law school. 🙂

It was a fun, busy week on the blog too! We kicked the week off with Q & A Monday where I answered your most frequently asked questions (even the ones about Brian;). Then, I shared my everyday makeup routine and I hope that was helpful for you!

DRESSING ROOM
I’ve got lots of hot Summer styles to share with you, and since our trip to Florida is Monday, I was trying on some things to possibly take! I can’t wait to share with you!
JEWELRY WORN: Necklace • Ring • Beaded Bracelets
For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS in tops and dresses.
With any outfit that calls for a strapless bra, this is the one I’m wearing. Fits TTS
Bodysuit • Shorts • Studded Sandals
Of course, there’s got to be jean shorts! I’m sure to be wearing these on repeat and you might be too by now! If you have kids, I’m sure they’re well into Summer vacay, but this is our first week!
I ordered two pair of jean shorts by Abercrombie and I’m smitten with both of them! This pair is the Mom High Rise and they look and feel GREAT on! There aren’t any rips, but there’s enough distressing and a raw edge hem to make them feel relaxed and lived in.
I’m also a fan of their bodysuits that are incredibly well made and nice and thick- even this ribbed knit feels sturdy and not too thin. I do size up in them though. I’m wearing a Small. Isn’t the color pretty too?!

The shorts come in several different washes to choose from.

This bodysuit is cool with the pale watercolor print. I like the halter style and higher neck. I’m wearing my strapless bra with it!

I’ve gotten so used to high rise jeans and shorts that I tend to prefer them now. But, these mid-rise Mom jean shorts feel familiar and I was surprised at how comfortable and confident I felt in them. They are more distressed than the high-rise pair above, but that just lends to their appeal.

And like the High Rise Mom Shorts above, they come in several different washes.
I’m so smitten with these new sandals. They’re definitely coming with me to Florida! They are quite comfortable with a cushioned footbed and they denim material and little fringe detail is so sweet!
Tank • Pants • Flip Flops • Weekend Tote
Hot summer days call for cool, carefree pants! This white pull on pair is easy breezy and just slips up over your hips with an elastic waistband and pockets. I also like that they aren’t too sheer. You can wear them as a real outfit, not just over a swimsuit.
I normally wouldn’t go for a short tank, but I like it here when you don’t want a long top looking bulky over your pants or jeans. This top sits right at my waist with no lumps or bumps.

I also tried these ripped jeans and I’m not 100% sold on all the rips, but I LOVE the style of the jeans! They are incredibly comfortable and that little kick crop is darling!!
They kind of remind me of these Express jeans, which I highly recommend. I’ve been wearing that pair nonstop, and they don’t have any rips, just a raw edge hem.

Again, I’m a fan of this Abercrombie bodysuit. I love how smooth it fits and feels, the pretty color and the high neck. These bodysuits also look great with skirts.

I’m digging this outfit. The white tee comes pre-knotted so you don’t have to fool with that. It’s also soft and cut with an almost cap sleeve.

Always here for the neutrals! My go-to high rise white jeans looks great with this button-down top. It’s got a relaxed drop shoulder and also comes pre-knotted with a longer tail in the back to cover your rear. 😉

A smocked tank is always a lovely choice and looks more put together than a knit tank. This one ties at the shoulder, but it’s also sewn so it can’t come undone. I liked the little florals and scallop detail too.

Sometimes the lighting is funky in my room, so I tried a new angle. Y’all tell me which background you prefer!
I’m bringing this little romper on vacay! It’s so sweet with the tan, almost linen feel. It has a cute petite ruffle at the chest, a smocked back, and pockets.
I like it with the sandals, but think it also looks sporty with the sneakers. Unfortunately, the sneakers are more cute than comfy. It may because I needed to size down, but they felt too flat on my foot. It’s a bummer because I really liked them!

DRESSES
Hello little smocked dress! What a fun option for a date night or night out with the girls! It’s a gorgeous sage green color and smocked throughout with a flirty ruffled hem.

I’m so crazy for this maxi dress that I shared it on Stories yesterday! It was going fast, so I hope you can still get your size. It’s got a lovely texture to it and such a lovely fit and colors with the varying stripes.
SWIM
I’m sooo excited to have new swimsuits to recommend for you! I’m extremely picky when it comes to swimwear and so many I’ve tried on this season didn’t make the cut, so I haven’t shown them to you! I only want to share what I really like, would wear, and think you’d like too!
This is a new style one-piece by one of our favorite swimwear brands, BECCA. She’s the one with the amazing crochet suits that make you feel like a million buck. You’ve covered and comfortable, but also don’t feel like you’re in a MOM SUIT! Her suits are always extremely flattering and this one is no exception.
I dig the slightly v-neck and how it sits higher on the chest. But, it’s va va voom with how the crochet part dips down! So sexy! And then look at the middle. She is so genius how she artfully designs her suits to give the illusion of an hourglass shape with a smaller middle.
The top is nice and supportive with removable pads and even the backside flatters.
Swimsuit Fit: I’m wearing a Small
I don’t think I’ve ever ordered a swimsuit from LOFT, but if this is what they have to offer, I’m SOLD! This blue swimsuit is absolutely stunning and the color is GORGEOUS! It feels so silky smooth, like they used the most quality fabric. It’s fully lined with adorable ruffles and it feels wonderful on. The top feels supportive and you can remove the padded cups if you prefer. It also ties at the back, so you can adjust the shoulders to fit you perfectly.
It’s a KEEPER for me and I can’t wait to splash in the ocean in it!
Swimsuit Fit: I’m wearing an XS
Another WINNER! I also felt great in this classic black one-piece and the ribbed knit and plunging neckline with o-ring is sassy! But, I didn’t feel too exposed or inappropriate for being with the kids in it.
It’s a classic, good-looking suit and I bet you get tons of compliments in it!

As for what to wear over your suit, isn’t this little set adorable?! I’m bringing it to Florida too and I’m smitten with it! The pieces are sold separately, so you can mix and match sizes if you need to.

And this maxi cover up is so unique and different! I really loved it and the beautiful way the crochet was knit. You taller girls will ROCK IT! And it’s mean to accentuate your curves, so curvy girls, EMBRACE IT!
Unfortunately, it was too long on me, so I knotted it in the front and back and that fit better. But, it’s a little weird walking with the back knot hitting my legs! 😉
