Hi friends! Welcome back to my blog! We’re in our last week of school here, and summer fever is REAL! The kids get out at noon on Friday, then we have the weekend and rest of the summer to PLAY!
It will be so nice to not have to hustle and race out the door in the morning and we can take evenings slower too. I’m hoping this thing makes those outside nights more enjoyable! We usually hang out in the front yard after dinner and I’ve been getting eaten alive!
We have been going in at 7pm on the dot since I’m a stickler for routine and getting kids to bed on time, but I loosen up when they don’t have to wake up early for school.
The older I’ve gotten, the earlier I like to get myself to bed though! I’m happy being in bed at 9pm, then reading or watching a video for a bit before falling asleep. Then, I love waking up before 6am. So different from my college days where I bartended and didn’t get to bed until 3am most nights!

Today’s post is full of super cute Summer styles at the most affordable prices. I’m sharing things mostly from Walmart, and only the pieces I love and wear myself! If you’re like me, you might be surprised at how far Walmart has come in the fashion department! They have some darling things!

For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS in tops and dresses.
I’m always a fan of a good sweater tank and this one is no exception. The pink is feminine and pretty, and the white one is fresh and crisp. It also comes in tan, yellow and black. Unfortunately, you can’t see the sweet scallop trim at the bottom since I did a front tuck.
Tank Fit: I’m wearing an XS
If you’re looking for a great pair of white jean shorts, these might be just what you want. They’re high waist cutoffs with a raw edge trim and under $20! The white are nice and opaque, but they also come in light and dark blue, and black.
Shorts Fit: I’m wearing a 0
These pull on pants are so fun! I love the wide leg and the comfortable stretchy waistband. You could wear these as an outfit like I did here, or pull them up over your swimsuit for an after-swim lunch.
Tank Fit: I’m wearing an XS

Gimme all the summer sweaters! I like the spongy texture on this one and the yellow ombre is so cheerful. It’s got a drop shoulder and exposed seams for a cool, casual look.
Top Fit: I’m wearing an XS
These distressed high rise jean shorts are perfect for wearing on the weekend, at the lake, on the boat or to the beach. You can’t mess them up and they’re only $24!

Isn’t this tote bag cute?! It’s so colorful with a fringe trim and bamboo handle. It’s actually pretty big, so it will hold a ton of stuff.

I also found some dressier style shorts that I was really impressed with! These linen-blend paper bag waist shorts feel amazing on and the style is easy to dress up or down. I paired them with a bodysuit and flat sandals for a weekend lunch look.
The bodysuit is nice and thick, and the tie shoulders are a fun touch.

I’m glad the shorts come in multiple colors- and the khaki goes with everything. I paired it with a navy bodysuit (sooo comfortable with a full bottom and snaps) and the Walmart gladiator sandals.

If you like maxi skirts, I bet you’ll like this one. It’s a gorgeous shade of turquoise and has a smocked waist with a flirty ruffle trim and is tiered at the bottom. It’s easy to wear- just pull on, and easy to move in! You’ll look so much more dressed up with a long skirt than if you wore the same top with jean shorts. But, you’ll still be relaxed and comfortable.

Man, this baby doll dress is so cute! It’s a pretty shade of pink with a pale yellow ric rac trim. You can also adjust the shoulder straps.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing an XS
I liked this little crochet dress so much that I bought it in two colors. You can’t go wrong with the lovely white! It’s fully lined with a ruffled shoulder and hits me just to my knee. I wore it with flat sandals for a more casual look.

It’s also an easy dress to dress up with a heel for a night out or dinner date. The woven tote bag is also from Walmart, and now it’s also out in a blue or yellow.
JUMPSUIT

You might recognize this jumpsuit from my 6 Healthy Snacks post. I really like the “orange amber” color, but it’s more red than orange. The material is a comfortable linen/rayon blend, which makes it look more polished than a jersey knit. It buttons down the front, then ties at the waist and has pockets!

Have you bought clothes from Walmart? I scored a black pair of skinny pants ($15!) and a faux leather jacket ($40) there that I got so much wear out of. I also wear my Beatles tee a bunch, and this sweater tank.
