Hi friends! Happy Friday! This was our first ‘normal’ week after the storm and it’s crazy to think how much can change in just seven days! The kids went back to school and I got back to work on the blog. It was a packed week with a new Amazon post, Top 10 Tuesday Goodies, Best Sales, Looks for Less and now today’s Dressing Room post!
We’ll be celebrating Jordan this weekend with a little family party at the park (fingers crossed it doesn’t rain!). I feel like five is such a milestone birthday because she definitely isn’t a baby or toddler anymore. She’s full on big girl and proud of it! Since I know she’s my last child, I tend to cherish all these young years because I know they go so fast. It seems like she was just born and I blinked and she’s already 5!
Before I get too sappy, let’s get to this fun dressing room post!

DRESSING ROOM
Today’s dressing room post is a fun one because we’re finally transitioning to Spring! That means, we’ve still got sweaters to keep warm, but they’re in fun light and bright colors to welcome the change of seasons. I also have a new pair of jeans I’m loving and I shopped Revolve for the first time!
Let me tell you, I was really impressed with the cute things I found there! There are lots of pricey items on that site, which is why I’ve tended to shy away from it in the past, but with a little digging, you can find affordable styles.

This was the outfit I wore on my birthday recently and y’all wanted the details on this top! It’s so fun for Spring, with the tie dye color and the contrast between the sweater front and open knit sleeves. It’s a hoodie too!

I love these Levi’s jeans. They aren’t super skinny, but they’re still flattering with a high waist. On the supermodel, they’re crop length, on me I had to cuff them to show a bit of ankle.

And we’re getting into some of those Spring hues I was telling you about. This button front sweater comes in several light colors and looks great with the light wash jeans.

This drop sleeve, v-neck sweater is a perfect cable knit and the green definitely has me dreaming of Spring! I like it with a little front tuck, which shows off the belt Brian got me for my birthday! I’ve been wanting it forever and he took note! :).
It’s the one-inch reversible (black/brown) and I’m wearing size Small. To reverse it, you just push the TB medallion out and flip it over onto the other side.

I’m so CRAZY for this off-shoulder sweater! I wore it out to dinner with Brian recently and felt both sassy and warm! It’s cut to sit perfectly on your shoulder without falling down, so it’s really comfortable to wear and it stays put.

Not gonna lie, I’m pretty excited to be trying on tank tops and sandals! This tank is by one of my favorite brands and I’m smitten with the pink and slight burn out style. It’ll be a Spring and Summer staple for sure!

If you like a bodysuit, you’ll love this one! It’s a sweater style with a comfortable full bottom and double snap. It’s a slim fitting, ribbed knit that would also look so good with your paper bag waist pants. The white is nice and opaque too.

This is the outfit I had on yesterday when James got his braces off, expect I had on a cardigan over it. James commented, “why are you wearing a cardigan out in the open?” I was so confused. He said he thought cardigans were just for inside, like a robe! Ha!
The top is lightweight and modern with the twist neck and cap sleeves. It comes in several colors (love the “rust leather”) and is only $20.

I’m LOVING these jeans! They are extremely comfortable, with a high waist, pretty blue wash, and ripped knees. I’ve been reaching for these so often because they feel so good on- without any gaping at the waist! Plus, I feel like they are so flattering and make your legs look longer.

This top also looks great with the itty bitty bootcut jeans! These are the onles with Ab-Solution technology to keep everything all tucked it at the wasitline! 😉

A good cami always comes in so handy. I like this one from LOFT that is double layered with a thin spaghetti strap. It has a scoop neck scoop back.

While we’re still waiting on those warmer temps, this cardigan looks great over the cami. The longer length is chic and it has side slits, making it really easy to walk it. I adore this punchy color too.

I adore this floral smocked top! I think it looks great for when you want to get a little more dressed up. It has an open neck and double ruffled sleeves with a smocked waist.

I was intrigued by these crop wide leg pants. They’re almost a denim material, but in a fresh cream color, “whitecap”. They’re fitted at the hips and waist, then flare out at the ankle. They’d be a great change to your workwear attire, but I think they looks best with a heel. It’s harder for us shorties to pull this off, but with a nude heel or wedge, they’re really cute!

But before we get ahead of ourselves, if you’re still weathering the cold, this knit sweater will keep you warm. It was $129, on sale for $64.

I grabbed my trusty Kut from the Kloth jeans that I haven’t worn in forever, but they felt just as good on as I remembered! They’re a great value and perfect if you’re looking for a dark wash jean without distressing. They had a v-cut at the ankle, but I trimmed mine so you don’t see that here.

This is exactly the type of top I like to wear when I want to be comfortable at home, but still look put together. This waffle knit pullover is soft and the buttons dress it up. The “intense copper” is pretty too.

If you like a lightweight pullover, get this one! I’m wearing it right now as I type! It’s insanely soft, thin knit with a “mineral wash” that gives it a chic, slightly faded look. It comes in tons of colors too.

You’ll easily go from work to weekend in this pullover. It’s the perfect weight for mild weather outdoors or chilly A/C inside. I like the relaxed fit and drop shoulders, plus that sophisticated neutral color combo.

I’ll be wearing this tank with jeans, shorts and to the gym! It’s got a deep V, and almost a ‘muscle’ tank style, but the arm holes aren’t gaping. You could probably show a peek of a cute bralette there though!
And can you believe thatcheckered bag is from Walmart?! It’s so cute, well made, and a steal!

OMG, y’all, I seriously didn’t want to take this sweater off! It’s the softest velour – the kind where you want to keep touching yourself! Ha! It’s a sweatshirt, but the puff sleeves and silky soft fabric give it an elevated feel.

Lately, I’ve been heading to exercise in a hoodie and leggings since it’s been chilly. I’m smitten with this hoodie because it’s really soft and cozy, plus it has a cute tone on tone zipper on the sleeve. Those sleeves are slightly exaggerated and it looks so cute with leggings!
Sweatshirt Fit: XS
These are my oldie, but goodie Zella Studio Lite Crop leggings. I’ve had them forever and they’re still going strong! They’re made with a moisture-wicking fabric to help keep you cool when you get hot from exercising. They have a comfortable high rise and come in several colors, but you can’t go wrong with basic black.

Holy cozy!! This pajama set is not only super cute with the stars and contrasting trim, they’re an ultra soft cozy fleece material. I’m crazy for them! They have an adjustable drawstring waist and also come in a pink dot print.

I loved these too, but note that they run large. They are a cooler weight material and the pants are jogger style. They’re a high rise style with a drawstring you can tighten to fit your waist.

Definitely keeping this pair! I like sleeping in short sets and always appreciate when the shorts come with a longer sleeve top. This material is also very soft and lightweight.

Ooh, y’all are gonna LOVE this robe! It’s a long sleeve chenille robe that hits me just above the knee. It’s warm enough to keep you cozy, but it’s not a heavy winter robe that you’ll be sweating in. It also comes in a super pretty blush pink.
