5 Valentine’s Day Outfits

Good morning friends!  It’s the start of a fresh, new week and I’m excited about it!  I started rereading Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy this weekend and it always motivates me to GSD!  If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it!  It’s a quick, easy read and full of practical advice that you can begin implementing right away to start changing your life for the better!  There’s even a version for students if you have a high schooler or college age kid.

Today, we’re looking forward to Valentine’s Day with 5 cute outfits.  I included a mix of casual, casual dressy, and one sassy dress!  I actually wore this dress on a date night recently and my date loved it! 😉 I also happened to run into one of my blog readers and it was so fun to get to visit!  She recognized both me and Brian and he was all, “sit down with us!”  It’s really fun to meet you, so please say hi if you see me/us!  He gets a kick out of it too!

VALENTINE’S DAY OUTFIT #1

TopJeans (Blue Spice) • Similar HeelsBraceletBag

I’m 100% smitten with this flirty, floral top! It’s got a silky feel, adorable ruffled shoulders and a flattering peplum shape!  And you won’t believe the price – under $25!

Top Fit : TTS, I’m wearing XS and it zips on the side

To keep it casual, I paired it with my Amazon “the wedgie” jeans.  Bad name, but cute jeans!  They come in several washes, but I like this medium, slightly faded pair.  I just cuffed the hem since they were a bit long on me.

The heels in a bright pink add a pop of color, and the black bag is the perfect “going out” size!

VALENTINE’S DAY OUTFIT #2

Jeans (Blue Spice) • SweatshirtEarringsBootsBracelet • Bag

Same jeans with a different top, statement earrings and a bright pink sweatshirt turn this into a completely different outfit!  The sweatshirt is so fun with the nearly neon pink, and the puff sleeves and exaggerated cuffs give it a modern, dressier feel.

It comes in red and white too and is on sale for just $25!

Top Fit : Runs slightly small, I’m wearing XS

VALENTINE’S DAY OUTFIT #3

Heart TopSkinny Jeans (mid blue) • BootsBraceletBag

My inner 12-year old girl still loves heart things!  Whether it’s a sticker or on a top!  This lightweight sweatshirt alternates red hearts (upside down and right side up) and little dots. It has a contrasting cuff and waistband and you can tuck it or wear it untucked.

It’s on sale for $35 now with code SOGOOD.

Top Fit : TTS, I’m wearing XS

I’m wearing my ultra comfy and super flattering high waist jeans from Amazon.  I love how the high waist make me feel more secure in the tummy region and there’s no gaping at the back in the waist.  They really are very comfortable with lots of stretch, but they don’t lose their shape.

These jeans are in my Amazon Capsule Wardrobe in case you missed it!  And I like them so much that they made my January Loves giveaway!  Go here to enter!

VALENTINE’S DAY OUTFIT #4

Heart Sweater • Skinny Jeans (mid blue) • Knee High BootsBraceletHeart EarringsBag

See!  I told you I have a love affair with hearts!  This sweater has just one, but it’s above a cute set of red stripes!  The red is a gorgeous true red and the sweater is nice and warm with a boatneck. I also like the drop shoulder and how you can slouch the sleeves for a relaxed look.

It’s also on sale for $35 with code SOGOOD.

VALENTINE’S DAY OUTFIT #5

DressOTK BootsBraceletsBag

And last but not least, here’s the dress I was telling you about!  Isn’t it cute?!  I love the flirty details and how it has an elastic waist to draw you in there.  Because it was chilly, I wore it with over the knee boots and a faux leather jacket.  Because the neck is high, I feel like it balances out the shorter skirt.

Dress Fit : TTS, I’m wearing XS, but I washed and dried to it shrink it a tad.  I would’ve preferred XXS, but I didn’t have time to exchange before I wanted to wear it!

I doubled up two black wrap bracelets to bring the drama!  On sale, just $20!

Do you have any fun plans for Valentine’s Day?  I’ll have my kids home with me, and they each get a heart shaped box of chocolate and we’ll have a fun lunch together, but nothing extravagant.  Maybe Brian and I will celebrate on another day??

  1. I loved the sweaters too, but much as I love you, the dress was too short and with the boots, not a great look. Usually you are right on target but my first thought was “whoa- you are past the age of wearing things that short!” My mantra sometimes is “just because I CAN wear it doesn’t mean I SHOULD wear it!” But I love ya!! Sorry but just being honest.

  2. I think you look fantastic in the black dress and boots. I was thinking how cute you are in the ruffles and tall boots! You are covered up and it isn’t body-con but a head turner! Makes me wanna get a ruffled dress. Beautiful.
