Dressing Room | January
Hi friends! Yayyy for Friday! I have have NOTHING on the agenda, which makes me so happy! This week was rough and I didn’t get the best sleep, so I’m really looking forward to resting! I cancelled my cable a couple weeks ago, and I’m actually loving not having the tv on in the evenings. I’ve been relaxing with a book instead.
I still have Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime, so there’s still lots of options if I want to watch something. Speaking of, Brian and I just finished Queen’s Gambit and it was so good! Even if you don’t know a thing about chess (me!).

DRESSING ROOM | JANUARY
Today, I have our first brand new dressing room post of the year! It was fun to see some new things and lots of sweaters to keep us warm right now.
SIZE REFERENCE : I’m petite, 5’1, about 110 pounds. I usually wear 0P or 25 in jeans and XS or 0P tops.

For the first time in forever, I headed to a blogger event this week. We used to meet every month but that’s been on hold for awhile! It was so good to see everyone (even just their eyes!)
It’s been really chilly here so I wanted to be cute and comfy. This sweater from Loft is so super soft and cozy with a v-neck and balloon style sleeves. The color is rich and vibrant too.

I’m still crazy for my Amazon skinny jeans, they fit like a glove with a high waist and lots of stretch.

Isn’t this a fun take on an argyle sweater?! I feel like it’s a more modern version. I love the soft neutral colors and it feels really nice on.

Who’s ready for Valentine’s Day?! I’ve got it on my brain and ordered several sweaters to celebrate the occasion. It doesn’t matter whether you’re going out or staying home, you can still wear something you feel great and festive in!

Looking for some more casual long sleeve tops to wear around the house, I found this thermal with a drop shoulder. I like the purple color for something different.

I’m still loving these Frame jeans that I got at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I’ve actually been reaching for them a lot lately.

Don’t you just love a good flannel button down?! The soft pink in this one drew me to it immediately and it’s mixed in with navy and white. I like wearing them open for a casual look with a white tee underneath, but you can also button it, tuck it in, or tie it.

Gimme all the neutral sweaters! I thought this one was super fun with the kangaroo pocket and loose fitting turtleneck. It’s nice and stretchy and will go with everything.

It’s hard to tell from the photo, but this sweater has textured hearts in it! Isn’t that so cute?! If you just want to give a slight nod to Valentine’s Day without being overdramatic, this sweater would be perfect!

I wasn’t expecting this top to be quite so sassy, but with the deep-v it sure is! Because it’s a thin knit, it would be easy to tuck into a pair of slacks or a skirt.

I’m wearing it with the Amazon wide leg crop pants that we all fell in love with last year. They are a nice thick, stretchy knit material that feel amazing on because they are so comfortable. But, they look dressy enough to wear to the office. Plus they have pockets!

How cute is this little crop sweatshirt from Target?! It’s not too short if you wear it with high waist jeans like these from Amazon. I think the top is so cute with the quilted detail at the sleeve and zip front.

Moving onto skirts and dresses, you can still be warm and comfortable by pairing a sweater with a skirt. This tweed skirt pulls on with an elastic waist and double front pockets. The cool thing is you can also machine wash it.

Unfortunately I struck out on most of the dresses at Target, however, I really like this one! It’s a gorgeous red with a ruffle sleeve and tassel tie in the front. Plus it’s fully lined!

Fingers crossed, Brian and I are supposed to go to Mexico next month! I started looking at a few dresses I could possibly take along and found this darling leopard mini dress. It’s got adjustable spaghetti straps flattering cinching down the front and a flutter hem. It’s on sale for just $22!
