October Rewind & Best Sellers

Hi friends! Happy Friday!  Can you believe Halloween is tomorrow?  Are you doing anything fun?  Our school is foregoing the annual costume party where parents could attend and it makes me so sad!  Some of the kids in our school are SO creative with their costumes and its aways so fun to see everyone dressed up.  The kids still get to dress up and have a classroom party, we just can’t attend.  :(They’ll go to a friends’ house for Halloween and I know they will have a blast!

I had a super fun date night last night.  We went to another couples’ house and they spoiled us with homemade ribs and they were delicious.  The funny thing is, I have been craving ribs forever!  I mentioned on Stories, but if you missed it- try Houston’s or Barnaby’s for ribs in Houston- both are so good!!

Okay, enough food talk- it’s making me hungry!  Today we’re rounding up the best of October and I’m sharing your faves and the LOVES winner!! Let’s start with that!

FITNESS

How I’m Staying in Shape and How I Meal Plan

I feel like it gets waayyyy harder to stay in shape in November and December.

We have good excuses.  It’s cold.  It’s really freaking cold.  That alone will make you want to stay all warm and cozy bundled up inside.  Plus, we tend to be busier.  There’s so much to do!  And does anyone else notice how traffic gets worse?  It takes longer to get places!  And there’s all that GOOD FOOD!  Gimme ALL the desserts in December!

But, regardless of all those (very valid) reasons, I’m TRYING really hard to not ruin all my progress in two months!  Here, I share my maintenance fitness plan and how I meal plan for the week.  Do you keep up with your fitness at the end of the year?

Now that our dining room is complete, I can’t wait to celebrate Thanksgiving here!  Today, I have two different Thanksgiving tablescapes to share with you.  Both looks were created with things I already had and a few new orders on Amazon Prime.

The first look is more modern with a black and white color palette and the second is more traditional, full of Autumn colors.  I can’t wait to hear which one you prefer!

  1. If the parents are able to get back into the building before the end of the school year, the parents should plan all the celebrations that the kids missed during pandemic. Then space them out and plan them for the rest of the year. Halloween in March, Thanksgiving in April, Christmas in May!
