It’s been a busy week here! I kicked off Monday with a This & That post (my personal fave!) and we chatted about school starting (cue all the emotions), closet cleanout, Amazon faves, Fall decor, I showed you my painted house!
Then, you saw what Ali-Shaun bought at the Nordstrom Sale and how she’s putting her spin on creating new outfits. I really love her style and it was fun when Oliver and her adorable daughter popped in! Isn’t see such a mini Ali-Shaun?! It’s so cute to see her and Jordan playing together.

Today, it’s time for a brand new Amazon fashion faves! Speaking of, did you catch the Nordstrom vs. Amazon | Looks for Less post? I had so much fun putting that post together with things from several categories on Amazon – fashion, intimates, activewear, accessories, jackets, shoes and home decor. You can check it out here.
I’m excited for today’s post too because it’s full of things you can wear now and on into Fall and winter. But, first, I always love seeing what y’all are loving and here’s your recent faves!

For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses. Lots of times the smallest size on Amazon is a Small, so in that case, that’s what I ordered.

Let’s start with warm weather outfits since that’s what we’re still experiencing here. In fact, August is usually one of Houston’s hottest months and this year is no different! These shorts are a longtime fave by Madison and they’re perfectly relaxed with slight distressing and a raw edge hem.

During my closet clean out, I rediscovered this tee and got it in two new colors. It’s super soft with a good bit of stretch and just the right v-neck shape (not too low). It comes in tons of colors and the white isn’t too sheer.

I really like the palm print on this pretty aqua background. The tank criss crosses in the front and has a stitch at the top to keep it from gaping open. Also, the spaghetti straps are adjustable and it drapes really well.

I’m sure to embarrass my 10 year-old son in this sweatshirt! It’s collegiate style letting and looks great with jean shorts and sneakers for weekend ball games or errands.

Style Tip : One of the easiest ways to transition your Summer wardrobe into Fall is by pairing your jean shorts with booties. You can add a sweater tank on top like I did here, or with a cami and cardigan.
I like this sweater and the bold stripe, plush you can wear a regular bra with it. Later in the year, it will look great with jeans.

A sweatshirt pullover and jeans shorts is also a good idea. This one gets a B from me because I thought it could be softer underneath. Otherwise, I really like the style with a 1/4 zip and kangaroo pocket.

Okay, ignore the top – it was a MISS because it’s way too sheer, but let’s focus on the adorable bootcut jeans! These are by Levi’s and the shape is great! They remind me of the Wit & Wisdom pair, but without the ab-solution technology. These jeans are designed to hold their shape though and they felt really comfortable on.
Jeans Fit : I’m wearing a size 2, and prefer my regular size 0 because they were gaping at the back of the waist.
I had high hopes for this halter sweater tank- the colors are so pretty, but the top part is so sheer. 🙁

Here’s the tee in white and I wore it tucked and untucked so you could see how long it is. I love the soft feel and how the white isn’t see-through.

I’m SMITTEN with these jeans! They’re by Levi’s with a high waist, distressed right knee and chewed hem. They feel so good on and I love how I don’t have to roll them to show a bit of ankle.

This leopard print cardigan gets 5 stars! It’s super soft and really well made with the thick knit. It can be worn buttoned and has pockets.

This tunic is nearly identical to this on at Nordstrom and both are 100% polyester. It’s also super long – great for you taller ladies or with leggings.
Tunic Fit: I’m wearing size S
These Levi’s jeans I’ve had for years and originally bought them at Nordstrom, and found them at Shopbop for $61. I like the style and oversized ripped knee. It has a flattering v-neck, single front pocket and roll-tab sleeves with a shirttail hem. It’s not sheer and you can machine wash it!
Jeans Fit : These jeans don’t stretch much, so you might want to size up. I like these jeans so much that I have them in my true size (25), and my bigger size (26), which I’m wearing here. I think I also cut the hem shorter.
I was looking back at older posts and realized I had ordered this same tunic the same.time.last year!

You’ve heard me raving about these leggings since I got them in 2018. They feel amazing on, are high quality fabric, nice and thick, opaque and not see-through. I love that they are breathable and moisture wicking and they literally rival some of my department store leggings for both quality and comfort.

I’m crazy for this top and already have it in pink, and also like this grey (and the blue below). It has a ribbed texture and I love the shape- a higher neckline and bloused sleeve. It’s also incredibly soft.

Ooh! You guys, this sweater is so soft and the color is GORGEOUS! It’s a soft burnt orange that looks so good with cognac booties. I bet it’ll also look great with black jeans too.
It’s a relaxed dolman style sweater with a rolled hem at the neck and it feels so good on.

I liked this sweater too! It feels very well made and classicly cut. The color is navy (not black) and white and kind of has a nautical vibe.
Style Tip : Right now, wear it with white jeans and your Tory Burch Miller sandals.
Sweater Fit : I’m wearing an XS, but it’s fitted, so if you prefer a looser fit, size up one.

You cannot go wrong with this sweater and I want one in every color! It’s literally the same pullover that you’ll find at Red Dress (I know because I just ordered it and was surprised when I compared them!)
It’s incredibly soft and comfortable, with a relaxed fit and open v-neck. There’s a ribbed sleeve and hem and darling seam down the front. The light blue is super pretty, and the olive green is gorgeous for Fall.

This cardigan reminds me of the ones I used to keep at the office for chilly air conditioned rooms. It’s a thin knit, nice and lightweight with buttons. I love where it hits at my hips. It’s definitely a ‘wear now’ cardigan!

Jordan popped in and joined me for a minute! I’m wearing at dolman style top that can be worn on or off the shoulder. I like it in this longer sleeve and also the short sleeve version. And it comes in a ton of colors.

Oh man, how cute are these pajamas?! The star print is fun and they are so soft and stretchy. The top has a drop shoulder and button front and the shorts have a functional drawstring waist.
