Hello friend, happy friday! It always feels great to make it to the end of the week!
This weekend we’ll probably just be hanging around the house, enjoying the updates to our landscaping! Thank you so much for all your sweet comments about it- it really made my day! All those little improvements really made a big difference and now I’ve got a bad itch to paint the exterior. But I’m not sure what would look good with our existing stone. Guess that project needs some more thought and research!

For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses. Lots of times the smallest size on Amazon is a Small, so in that case, that’s what I ordered.

SHORTS OUTFITS
I’m continuing on the demin shorts train and I’ve now washed and dryed these cutoffs and they did shrink a tad, but not enough to change sizes. They have over 2,000 positive reviews and are a great, relaxed style and they come in tons of shades. I’m wearing the “sky blue” which has lots of distressing and a raw edge hem.

I’ve had such good luck finding tie dye tops at Amazon and the colors in this one are so pretty! I also loved the tiered shape and little ruffled trim.

Be a nice human. One of my favorite sentiments and the shirts is nice quality too. It’s a pale pink and also comes in other pastel colors.

Good Vibes got a vibrant update in this tie dye tee. This one looks great tucked, untucked or knotted.

If you’re into the crop length tee, this is a good option. It’s short, but not belly baring. I’m covering my favorite part- it says “Honey ♥” on the left sid!

It’s so hot here, we can’t go outside unless we’re at the pool or in shorts and a tank. This tank is racerback style and also comes in other styles. You might like the “be kind” message or the rolling stones inspired lips and tongue!

Moving on to preppier options, Amazon makes such a good quality button down. These will last you forever and you can style them a million different ways. This multi-colored gingham is fresh for Spring and Summer and will look great with your white jeans and shorts. Of course, you’ll always look polished at the office in a button down top as well.

I hope you don’t get tired of stripes because I seem to never have enough. This long sleeve striped tee has a ballet neck and long sleeves. Crunching the sleeves up will make the top more warm weather appropriate and also looks more casual.

I’m always a fan of a Summer sweater or tank and this one is great! It’s a classic cable knit style with a v-neck and v-back that’s really cute. It comes in more colors too.

I’ve had these white shorts for a couple years now and they are a wonderful white distressed option for Summer. They’re 100% cotton and I’ve gotten tons of wear out of them.

I’m having deja vu with this tank- did I show you it before?? It’s a halter, racerback style and just so easy to throw on for the weekends. I’m wearing “blush frost” but all of the other colors look good too. This is the kind of tank I’d stock up on because I like it so much!

This long thin knit cardigan is giving the Nordstrom brand a run for it’s money! It’s really well make and instantly elevates your outfit while keeping the chill off. I love this king of cardigan for keeping at the office when the AC gets too chilly.

Puff Sleeve Sweater • Skinny Jeans
And this puff sleeve sweater was so seriously soft that I had to include it here, even though it’s Summer! It’s got a ribbed knit texture and sleeves that blouse in a such a gorgeous, feminine way. It’s too warm to wear it now, but I’m keeping it for later!

Sunflower Tank • White Jeans • Studded Sandals
How about those white jeans?! This is my favorite pair from Amazon that is still going strong after several seasons! They’re by Levi’s, a high rise skinny jean with just the right amount of stretch (but won’t leave you sagging at the end of the day). They’re also opaque white with a little bit of distressing and raw edge hem.

This tank is almost a muscle style but the arm holes aren’t too big. I love the vibrant yellow sunflower against the blue background. It would also be cute with jean shorts.

I wasn’t sure I was going to like this top based on how it looked on the hanger, but that goes to show that you always need to try things on before making a final decision! Once I put it on, I was pleasantly surprised at how it fit and felt. It’s nice and relaxed at the top with a dolman style and the sides are ruched and sit at your hips in a flattering way. I think you’d be really comfortable and look great in it!

These are the straight leg jeans I showed you last week- a high-rise straight leg style. They are supposed to be cropped length, but on me they fit like regular length jeans. I’m wearing the “good measure” color which is a light denim with ripped knees. They look super cute cuffed with wedges.

SKIRTS
Now, let’s move onto skirts and dresses! I found some good ones for ya!
First up, how about this midi skirt? It’s a wrap style that ties on the side and also has a flirty little side tie. I was laughing a bit at how the model was wearing it because the wrapped fabric isn’t really going to be a leg shower- but to each his own. I think it’s actually on the demure side with adorable dots.

I find that this bodysuit comes in so handy- I wear it all the time. I like the classic shape of it and how seamlessly it fits with skirts, jeans and shorts. It’s got a full, snap bottom and isn’t sheer. It also has just a hint of stretch.

Take your typical tee and dress it up a notch with this puff sleeve beauty. It’s made of a cotton modal stretch material that feels thick and stretchy. The white is nice and opaque, but it comes in several colors.

DRESSES

Gosh, what a cute little denim dress, complete with ruffle trim! It’s by J.Crew Mercantile, available exclusively on Amazon. It easily slips on over your head, then gathers at the waist and falls just above the knee. I styled it with a belt, but you could wear it without. The chest is sewn closed so it won’t gape open. It’s 100% cotton and machine washable.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing an XS
I’m crazy for this maxi dress. I have the same print in a jumpsuit and the little petite florals are just too cute. The dress has adjustable shoulder straps, a fitted bodice and pockets. I think it’s extremely flattering and even a short gal won’t have to get it altered if you wear a heel or wedge.

The next two dresses are comfy casual at its best – tank style T-shirt dresses! This one has a V-neck and cinched waist with pockets and a shirttail hem. The vibrant aqua blue is so so pretty!

This dress is a bit more simple with the higher neckline and lack of pockets. I really love it with the snakeskin slides, weekend casual for sure!

Oh my goodness, how cute is this baby doll dress in a tie-dye print?! I love the easy to wear style and darling ruffled sleeves. It’s on the shorter side but hangs a bit lower in the back. The color says ‘gray’ on the website but it is a bit more purple in person. There’s also a lilac and aqua tie-dye color that’s really pretty!
Dress Fit: I’m wearing a Small
I’ve had such good luck with the Amazon brand, Lark & Ro and this dress is no exception. It’s a cap sleeve square neck dress with a seamed silhouette, so it’s extra flattering. The fit and flare style looks great on everyone! I’m wearing the ‘faded rose’ color and it is stunning, but it also comes in a more subdued midnight navy or classic black. It’s definitely a workwear outfit you can be confident in.
Dress Fit:I’m wearing a 0, prefer petite
For an evening out or a summer party, I love this lightweight dress. It has elegant pleats and a flattering fit and flare style. You can’t go wrong with classic black, but it also comes in a rainbow of other colors and also long sleeves.

JUMPSUIT
Y’all know I’m crazy for jumpsuits and this one is so so comfortable with the super soft terry fabric. It’s elbow length with a stitch at the chest and a crop length pant.
This would be great for running around in, doing errands, or just heading to the grocery store. You’ll be super comfortable, but feel a little bit more dressed up than just wearing jean shorts and a tee.
Jumpsuit Fit: Runs large, size down. I’m wearing an XS and would prefer petite.
SWIMWEAR
I found a hot swimsuit that comes in several colors and patterns, so I wanted to show you the leopard print and basic black. It’s a plunge style that ties around the neck and also at the mid back, leaving a sassy keyhole back.
The little crochet detail is artfully placed and provides tummy control, while creating a flattering silhouette. The top has soft padded removable cups and provides modest support.

I am not usually someone who comments on blogs but my curiosity is killing me. 🙂 I have to know about the white puff sleeve tee. I ordered it, and it was exactly what I was looking for…. as long as I didn’t move my arms. The sleeves were sewn in a way that they connected to the body of the tee wayyyy out on the bust line. It wasn’t noticeable if my arms were tucked in the way yours are in the photo, but if I moved an arm away from my body at all it looked like my boob was stuck halfway in the arm hole of the shirt! Did you notice anything odd about the sleeves or did I just get a defective one?
