Summer Dresses | Nordstrom & Target Edition

Good morning Monday!  I can’t believe this weekend will be July 4th!  Here’s hoping the last half of the year is so.much.better than the first!  I think this season has really caused us to think about our lives and how we want to live.  How important social connections are and that it really matters what kind of people we are in the world.  I pray that the kids can go safely back to school in August, but I’m not counting on it.  How about you??

Today’s post is a Part 2 of my latest Target and Nordstrom haul.   Part 1 was Summer outfits featuring separates that you can mix and match with shorts, jeans and skirts. Today is full of fabulous dresses (think office, party, wedding and more!).

I love the easy style of this chambray wrap mini dress. The fabric is nice and soft and the style is too cute! It’s criss crosses at the chest, but it is seemed close so it won’t come open. The flirty ruffle him is a fun touch.

This baby doll dress is super popular and I’m not surprised it’s selling out quickly! I have seen it coming in and out of stock so check back if they don’t have the color or size you want.

I got it in the white and red and it’s so cute. It’s got flutter sleeves, a clip dot texture and is fully lined. It’s a great little weekend dress and looks great with both wedges or flat sandals.

Here’s a dress that will last throughout the seasons. It’s great now with a wedge or heel and in the fall will be chic with booties. Then add tights in the winter.  The dress has pockets and is fully lined with a fun lace up at the chest.

It also comes in solid black and a solid rust color if you don’t prefer this print.  Only $37!

Another work friendly dress I adore from the Who What Where line is this leopard print baby doll style dress. It’s got a modern vibe with puffed sleeves. Just $35!

I’m crazy for this leopard print maxi that is similar to theLoveappella maxi, but this one has a tiered skirt. The spaghetti shoulder straps are adjustable and it has an elastic waist. Isn’t this print fun?! It also comes in solids and is partially mind. Under $50.

Y’all! Get this dress! It is so so good and a steal at Target! It has a criss-cross top with shoulder straps that aren’t too thin to hide your regular bra. The material is soft and lightweight and on the gauzy side, but fully lined. It also has pockets!

If you love a white dress in the summer, this one is a beauty! It’s similar to the Maxi above with a crisscross top, but this one is Sewn closed at the chest. It has a cute little smoked shoulder and tie waist. It’s lined to the knee.

I couldn’t believe this dress was from Target, and only $20! It comes in seven colors and the quality is really good! It’s a tank fit and flare style and the material is nice and thick with a hint of spandex.

I don’t think I’m doing this dress justice because it was SO cute but a little big on me. It has darling crochet detail at the chest and hem with a cute scallop cut. I love this dusty rose color and it’s fully stocked in all sizes from XS to XXL.

Such a pretty maxi dress and I love how the petite floral print lays against a dark background. That makes this dress perfect for either day or night.   Was $89, now $49

This dress is so fun and happy and you may be able to wear to the office. It’s a wrap style with an inner button to keep the skirt closed and then it wraps around with a ruffled skirt and coordinating tie belt.

If you have a wedding, brunch or shower coming up, this dress would be so pretty to wear. The watercolor print is gorgeous and the ruffles are feminine and flirty. It’s partially lined and zips up the back. It comes in two other gorgeous floral prints.

I’m calling this the “Miami dress” and I’m inviting all of you to head there with me and we’ll dance the night away! I have no idea where I can wear this dress in my real life, but I’m keeping it because I’m an optimist!

Why does this dress remind me of Little Bo peep?! Probably the way the bodice is gathered and the cap sleeves, but I’m kind of digging it! I think it’s a really cute day dress and would look great with your nude Miller sandals.

Oooh, here’s another good one from Target! This is such an easy pull on style dress to wear with the smocked top and relaxed skirt.  You can adjust the shoulder straps on this one and it comes in for solid colors in sizes XS to 4X, for $28.

Beaded Bag

How cute is this beaded bag?! It’s a fun one to carry with your summer styles, adding a bit of extra interest, just like a statement earring does. It will hold just your daily essentials at 7 1/2″ x 10 1/2″.  It’s beaded in the front and straw on the back and looks way better in person than on the website.

This dress is definitely vacation or fiesta ready!  You’ll turn heads for sure because it’s bold with a bright pink background with a lively floral print.  If that’s too much attention for you, it also comes in a gorgeous green and pale blue combo!

The bodice has a sweet front tie and the tiered maxi skirt flows beautifully away from your body.

This off shoulder dress is so sassy with the bare shoulders and handkerchief hem.  It slips on easily over your head, and the smocked shoulders comfortably stay in place without riding up.  The dress is lined to the knee.

This navy floral dress is sophisticated with the dark background, but still playful and fun with the lavender florals. It zips up the back with a hidden zipper and is fully lined to the knee.  I love how the asymmetric shape and ruffle adds that flirty vibe.  Was $148, now $60.

Can you even believe this dress is from Target?!  It reminds me of something you’d find at a department store with the sleek strapless style, side rushing, and I’m CRAZY for the asymmetric slit at the knee.  The chest has a sticky lining that helps keep it up and I’m wearing it with this strapless bra.  The only problem is, I couldn’t get the back zipped all the way up!  It’s only $50, but looks much more expensive.

Dress Fit: I’m wearing a 0 (it comes in size 0 to 22W)
