I’m so happy for the weekend! This week has been a grind with getting over being sick, Jordan home sick yesterday, getting back into the sports schedule (lots of practices and games while basketball and baseball overlap). Our weekend will be full of games and like I mentioned earlier this week, Jordan’s 4th birthday party is on Sunday! She’s so excited for the big day and keeps asking me who’s coming. She’s a social one, that’s for sure!
I also realized I posted every day this week! Five days is a lot, but I had much to share with you! We started with Home Office Organization Tips, followed by my latest Loves Giveaway, then the Best Sales, new styles on Victoria Emerson wrap bracelets for under $20.
DRESSING ROOM
Now onto today’s Dressing Room post! We’ve had so much rain and chilly weather lately, but Spring is on the horizon! I can’t believe we’re already halfway through February, especially considering January lasted so long!
For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses.

You’ll definitely want to pick up this floral print cami. It’s so darling with a tiny scallop detail at the chest and adjustable shoulder straps. It’s only $25 and comes in a neutral dot print and several solids. You can easily dress it up for a night out, or wear it casually with jeans or shorts soon!

I’m SO crazy for these high waist jeans. The dark denim and solid wash gives you legs for days! These definitely came home with me!

These under $50 paper bag pants are fantastic! The material feels amazing on and they have pockets and a coordinating tie belt. They’re supposed to be an ankle length, but on me, they fit like a full length pant.

The white jeans are actually a bit more off white in person. They’re a nice, slim fitting skinny jeans, with a high waist that tucks you in.
White Jeans Fit : I’m wearing a 26 (fits like 25-26) and could have sized up.
Ever since I got these distressed jeans, I’ve been wearing them nonstop. I love the casual style and how soft they feel on. Bonus: they’re under $50!
Every woman needs a nice blazer in her closet. What I like about this one is how you can take it from work to weekend. The fit is nice and modern with the sleek design and one button. Plus, the striped lining is nice and relaxed.

I found another beautifully tailored blazer at LOFT and brought this one home too. It’s nice and lightweight and I love that it’s actually dark olive green, instead of black. Black can look severe, and this softer color is more subdued. It also comes in a lovely soft pink. I’m thinking it will be great to dress up jeans for a night out or to wear to the office.

Another work to weekend look is this peplum blouse. I’m always a fan of a peplum style because they draw you in at the waist, creating an attractive hourglass shape. This one has a fun ruffle neckline and subtle pattern.

Polka Dot Peplum Top • Jeans • Nude Heels
I liked this polka dot blouse so much I tried it in both the navy and the white. Which one do you prefer? It’s sheer, but comes with a camisole underneath. I like how you can wear it with the neck tied for a more demure look, or leave it untied for a more relaxed style.

How sweet is this blouse?! It feels so soft and silky on and I love the wrap style and slightly puffed sleeves. It’s got a tiny snap closure so it won’t fall open.

More peplum for ya! But this one is in a casual t-shirt material with 3/4 sleeves and a fun textured pattern. Yellow always makes me hopeful for Spring on the horizon!

You guys! This pullover had me at soft and cozy! I’m still a sucker for anything that feels pajama soft and I can lounge in or work at my desk in.

This one was different – in a good way. The rusched side and tie are really cute. I could see wearing this to the ballfields!

Bring on Spring with this white blouse. The circle dot texture is sweet and it looks great both tucked or untucked. It will be perfect with your colored chino pants, shorts or jeans.

I loved the sweater and the pretty dot texture. It also has a slightly puffed sleeve and went so well with these button front pants.

Madewell makes some of the best tees. I liked how this style is a shorter length, so super easy to front tuck. It’s a more boxy, relaxed fit that has weekend written all over it.
They also have great jeans. I do like the straight leg style for a change. This wash is really pretty with just a touch of fading and one ripped knee.

I also popped into Banana Republic- which used to be one of my go-to stores when I worked in an office. They still have great styles, do you shop there? This striped top has a great weight to it and is nice for transitional weather on into Spring and Summer. This type of top looks great with shorts too.
I has happily surprised with their jeans too. This pair felt great on and I liked the dark wash and raw edge hem.

Back home, I tried on some things from Red Dress Boutique and Abercrombie. I really like the styles at Red Dress and their things ship fast and free when you order $75. Returns are also easy if something doesn’t work out. You have two weeks to send back whatever doesn’t work.
Isn’t the detail on this white peplum top gorgeous?! It’s lined in the middle with crochet detail throughout. The middle is nice and fitted with a peplum that really accentuates your waist.
