UNDER $50 FALL FINDS

Thank you to JCPenney and ShopStyle for sponsoring today’s post.

You guys! Fall has found its way to Houston and we couldn’t be happier.  We’ve been sweatin’ through the heat and humidity with temps still reaching the 90s, but this week we’ve got lows in the 60s! It’s absolutely GLORIOUS!!!

I signed on for a 4-part collaboration with JCPenney and I’m sure you’ll enjoy these cute style/budget friendly posts.  I choose my sponsors carefully, and have enjoyed partnering with JCPenney in the past- especially last year during the holidays.  I got the cutest pics with Jordan and hopefully we can get more this year.  I can’t believe how long both of our hair was!

OUTFIT #1

Exploring the JCPenney site is worth the effort! They have so many great styles that won’t break the bank.  I found four outfits for you, and the first three are mix and match with one great pair of jeans and an awesome pair of booties!

JC Penny-Plaid Shirt and Jeans

PLAID TOP  •  Nothing says Fall faster than a plaid button down top, especially in this ginger color.  But I also like the mix of purple in it.  You can wear it tucked, tied, or untucked with a tank or cami underneath.  It’s on the lightweight side and comes in a rainbow of colors.

Top Fit: I’m wearing size XS

JEANS • These jeans are by Levi’s – the 711 Skinny Ankle Jean in ‘maui indigo’.  They are a comfy midrise with a good amount of stretch and a raw edge, released hem.

OUTFIT #2

JC Penny-Sweater and Jeans

SWEATER • What I love so much about this cable knit sweater is that you can easily wear it to work with slacks for a more professional look, but it’s also a casual look with jeans.

BOOTIES • I crossed my fingers when I ordered these booties since it’s hard to know how they’ll look and feel in person.  But, I was happily surprised at the style, color and fit in person.  They look much more expensive than they are and have a lot of cushion inside.

OUTFIT #3

JC Penny- Cardigan and Jeans
CARDIGAN • Guys, this duster style cardigan is super cozy, with pockets.   It also comes in brown and black.  If you think you’re too short for a long cardigan, think again.  A streamlined, long cardigan can be flattering on us shorties too!

OUTFIT #4

JC Penny- Dress and Booties

DRESS • Do you love a boho dress as much as I do?!  I’ve always been drawn to the comfortable style, and I think they are especially cute with booties for Fall. This one has a playful pattern with tassels and 3/4 sleeves.

  1. Cute dress at the end! We recently discovered the JCP photo studio and it’s such a gem! In 15 min we got amazing pics of our 2 and 5 y/o with outfit changes! It’s indoors (so no weather surprises to worry about like w/outdoor pics). I may need to check out more than the photo studio at JCP now! 🙂

  2. Thank you so much for this post! The clothes are adorable and so affordable! Yay! Did you find that the jeans stretched out over the day? I don’t like when they look cute in the morning and baggy at the end of the day.

  3. These are such beautiful photos! You put so much effort into your blog and it’s so appreciated! I only discovered you last month, but I’m already rocking the fedora from Amazon and the Black Cherry Chutney polish from OPI! 🙂
