Dressing Room | Old Navy & Target

Good morning friends! Well, it didn’t take long – both of my kids woke up yesterday saying they didn’t want to go to school.  Jordan came home without napping and was in total beastmode!  So super grumpy, but we had an early dinner and early to bed, so hopefully today is better!

I’m so glad you liked Friday’s Amazon post and yesterday’s LOFT post– both try-ons are saved to my Story Highlights.  I think it helps to see things live and in action and videos are always more personal.

Today, I’m moving onto Old Navy and a few things from Target that just arrived from my last order.   I was happily surprised with the things in this post!

OLD NAVY

I’ve had mixed feelings about Old Navy- sometimes the quality just isn’t there, but the prices are always right and they do tend to have cute styles.  They always offer FREE shipping on orders over $50.

When I was shopping for Jordan’s uniform shorts/skorts, several items for us gals caught my attention, so I decided to give them a try.  I’m really impressed with Old Navy right now – I liked almost everything in my order – especially the jeans!

Old Navy and Target Leopard Print Tank

If you watched my Stories yesterday, you saw animal print is having a huge moment now.  We’re seeing it in every color, even multicolor and mixed animal prints.  This red leopard top is a great way to incorporate the trend and add some color into your outfit.  The “V” neck is also on the back and if this print isn’t your thing, it also comes in black or mustard dot.

Top Fit: I’m wearing size XS

I am smitten with these jeans!  They are a mid rise skinny jean in a perfect toned dark wash.  I know I like a jean when I can get them on easily and then after they’re buttoned and zipped, I still feel comfortable in them and don’t want to take them off!  The fit and style are both great and I LOOOOVE that they come in regular, tall and petite AND short, regular or long inseam.  Talk about finding your perfect size – I should try the petite next time!

Old Navy Leopard Pants

I kept coming back to these leopard pants when I was shopping online, and finally decided I wanted to see them in person.  When they came, I wasn’t sure about them, but once I put them on, I was smitten!  Do you think they’re as cute as I do?!

The background is an orange color and the leopard has pink and black, but I think somehow it works- especially with the slim ankle cut.  They looks sharp and you can have fun styling them different ways.

Pants Fit : I’m wearing 0P

The cardigan is a Target find that I’m crazy for!  It’s a thin knit reminiscent of a this cardigan from Nordstrom, but softer and less expensive.  It’s gotten tons of great reviews and lots of colors to choose from.

Cardigan Fit: I’m wearing size XS

Old Navy Blush Open Front Cardigan

For those of you itching to wear a cardigan or lightweight sweater right now or in the near future, I found some good ones!  This open style cardigan is soft and the perfect mix of casual chic.  It’s got pockets and a long ribbed hem for extra detail.  This one is a pretty neutral mauve, but it also comes in several other colors.

Cardigan Fit : I’m wearing size XSP

Old Navy Pink Sweater

I have a feeling you’ll want this one in multiple colors.  The color and style of this sweater immediately drew me to it.  This style is classic and can be worn to work with slacks, now with shorts or in Fall and Winter with jeans.  It’s a great weight – not too thick or thin and it’s slightly longer in the back, so also good for leggings (especially if you size up).

Sweater Fit : I’m wearing size SmallP

On the thicker side, this v-neck sweater is ribbed and a classic wardrobe staple piece.  The fuscia is super fun too- I love adding a bright pop of color to my outfits in the Fall- it feels very unexpected!

Sweater Fit : I’m wearing size XS and wouldn’t mind sizing up for a more loose fit

Old Navy Ruffle Sleeve Top

TopBlack Distressed Skinny JeansCircle BeltBooties

I’m crazy for this entire outfit and keeping it! The top is that kind you feel more dressed up in, but it’s still comfortable on.  I think it’s the darling ruffle at the sleeve and neck and the smocked chest that makes it extra cute.  I’m not seeing this exact pattern on their site now, but it does come in dark pink, black and olive stripe.

Top Fit : I’m wearing size XS

This is the first pair of black distressed jeans I’ve ever worn and I’m digging it!  I feel like an extra cool in them and don’t think the distressing is too extreme.  The fit of the jeans is also amazing and very slimming.  They are high waist with a good bit of stretch and again, a pair I didn’t want to rip off my body like it was on fire.  #alwaysaplus

No wonder this jeans are a top seller with fantastic reviews!

Old Navy Pink Utility Jacket

A good military jacket is always handy in my car around this time of year.  I find myself reaching for them to take into chilly restaurants, the movies or shopping.  I dig the salmon pink color on this one for a change from the typical olive green or grey.  It’s quite well constructed and sturdy with front pockets, a zip front and snaps and my personal fave – an inner cord drawstring so you can cinch your waist!

Old Navy Grey Jumpsuit

You should have heard me singing in my room when I tried this jumpsuit on!  It might very well be my new school drop off and pickup uniform!  Well, who am I kidding?!  It’s probably gonna be my new work, grocery shopping and errand running uniform too! 😉 .

It’s super duper soft, amazing quality and the cutest cut with crop legs, v-neck (back too!) and an elastic drawstring waist.

Jumpsuit Fit: I’m wearing size XSP.  If you have a hard time fitting a long torso, it also comes in long.

Old Navy Green Olive Jumpsuit

Olive Jumpsuit • Miller Sandals | Circle BeltBracelet BagClear Heels

Oh man, the Old Navy jumpsuit game is strong! Check out this sassy olive number! It’s a very silky soft material and the soft green color is absolutely gorgeous!  I adore the style and especially how it looks dressed up with a belt and heels!

Jumpsuit Fit: I’m wearing size XSP, the top would blouse over more if I wouldn’t have gotten petite

Old Navy Blue Maxi Dress

Blue Midi Dress • Miller SandalsGold Bangles | Jean JacketWedge Sandals

Another winner is this blue floral midi dress.  I tried this dress on right after eating a big plate of nachos and it felt so good and forgiving on!  The style is adorable with the fit and flare top and skirt and the petite flowers are sweet too.  I also love this dress in red.

Old Navy Black Maxi Dress

This dress is going fast friends!  I think because it’s universally flattering and the higher neck feels less exposed.  It’s also beyond comfortable and great for several different occasions with lots of styling options.

TARGET

Y’all loved my recent Target post and I did too!  Not everything arrived in time to share then, so I’m adding it here!

Target boho maxi dress

Boho Maxi DressMiller Sandals

This dress is similar to the boho maxi in my first Target post, but that one had sleeves and this one is sleeveless.  I might even like this one better!  It’s got that feminine, flirty feel and the color is so Fall!

Dress Fit : I’m wearing size XS

Target Striped Kimono

Striped KimonoTankJeansSnakeskin BeltClear Heels

How perfect is this kimono/sleeveless cardigan for wearing right now?!  It’s super lightweight and the colors are heading straight into Fall.  It’s shorter in the back with long tails and a shawl-like shape.  I love it for throwing on over a tank when you want another light layer for added interest.

Kimono Fit : One Size

Target Striped Shirt

Striped tees are a must-have over here and this crewneck style is classic.  The fabric is beyond soft and there are endless ways to style a striped shirt.  I tried it with the leopard pants and didn’t LOVE it, but thought if I added another layer like a jean jacket or cardigan, it would be pretty cute!

Top Fit: I’m wearing size XS

Target Long Grey Cardigan

Mid-Rise Skinny JeansLong Cardigan •  Tank • Circle BeltSimilar Snakeskin BootsHat

This grey cardigan is the same one I’m wearing in the Old Navy part (black cardigan with leopard pants) and it’s SOOO good!  I wanted to show you both the grey and the black because they are both keepers!

Cardigan Fit: I’m wearing size XS

Target Lace Floral Camisole

Target keeps on truckin’ with the good cardigans.  I like the way it almost looks striped they way the open knit holes are layered.  Of course I liked this oatmeal color they call “brown” but I also dig the pretty coral they call “red”.  It’s pretty lightweight and the duster length can actually make you appear taller! 😉

Cardigan Fit : I’m wearing size XS

Target Knit Open Cardigan

Honeycomb Open CardiganBodysuitBlack Distressed Skinny Jeans • Circle Belt •  Peep Toe Booties

This open front cardigan is giving me all the cozy Fall feels! It’s surprisingly soft – not scratchy at all, and the honeycomb weave gives it a nice, chunky texture.

Target pajamas

Pajama Set

A big, fat YAASSS to these striped pajamas.  They’re too long on me, puddling on the floor a bit, but I still love them.  I want to get a pair for the whole family for weekend-in movie nights!

Okay friends, let me know in the comments if you liked this Old Navy/Target post and if I should do more in the future!
