Welcome to the first MONDAY of our summer break!  So far it’s business as usual, except the kids are staying up later and sleeping in beyond the time I usually start ruffling their feathers to get ready for school.  That is nice for all of us!

I still have my Mom helping me during the day and it’s extra sweet that she gets to have some time with James now too.  I’m also looking forward to a mommy and son date this week.  I’m curious what he’ll want to do.

Today, I’m sharing a new Work • Weekend • Wow post with not just three, but seven ways to style this super cool leopard midi skirt.

LEOPARD MIDI SKIRT

This Leith leopard midi skirt is fully lined, with a wide elastic waistband that pulls on over your hips, without any zipper or pockets for a more sleek style.

It comes in this bold yet classic leopard pattern, red floral, white floral and tan/dot.  It’s also machine washable and only $55.

SKIRT FIT :  The skirt fits TTS, I’m wearing size XXS. y fit TTS, I’m wearing XSP.  I’m happy to see that Nordstrom carries petite sizes through XXL in this brand. 

OUTFIT 1

For each of these outfits, I kept the jewelry the same : Necklace • Hoop Earrings • Coil Ring • Watch and only changed out the top, shoes and bag.

Depending on the office atmosphere where you work, you would likely be able to don this wild pattern if you balance it out with a smart, tailored top.

The great thing about this classic white button down top is that it’s cut with longer, slim front pieces that are specifically designed to be tied so you don’t end up with a bulky tied top.

OUTFIT 2

The look below is definitely for a night out or date night.  The bodysuit is va va voom, while being extremely comfortable and full bottomed with snap closures for easy restroom access.

It’s completely opaque, thick/textured material with removable shoulder straps in case you want to wear it bandeau style.  I belted it to up the visual interest and show you how you could incorporate more accessories into this look.

I’m also smitten with these clear heels!  They have a clear toe strap, ankle strap, and heel so that they look barely there, giving you legs for days.

Heels Fit : I’m wearing my true size, but I probably could have sized up half.

OUTFIT 3

For a more demure date night look, I opted for this gorgeous and very well made peplum tank blouse.  It’s got quite a deep v in the front, so I kept the bodysuit on underneath.

I also folded the skirt under three times to shorten the length.  In doing so, you’re left with almost an A-line skirt look.

OUTFIT 4

Adding a pop of color is always a good idea and pink + leopard is a particularly happy combo. I raised the length of the skirt with this outfit by folding the waist over once.

This top is a elevated from your regular tees with this jersey knit that makes it more luxe.  I like the side tie for a playful twist and it sits slightly longer in the back.

With our sun blazing most days, I often keep a wider brim hat in the car to shield my face.  I don’t need any more sun spots or wrinkles.  Plus, a hat camouflages a bad hair day!

OUTFIT 5

In my old legal days, you could definitely find me working away in this outfit.  I absolutely LOVE this top and feel super stylish everytime I wear it.  It’s silky smooth on with a conservative v-neck and 3/4 length sleeves, perfect for showing off your bracelets. 

You won’t believe it, but it’s machine washable.

I have it in two colors (black and pink) and want to add more- it also comes in cobalt blue, light blue, pink, and white.

The classic black pumps complete the look.

This blouse also looks sharp with jeans for a date night. 😉

OUTFIT 6

Another casual look I put together is with this drop sleeve chambray button down top.  You could button it up and belt it with a skinny belt, but I chose to leave it open with the bodysuit underneath and tie it.  Man, that bodysuit is sure coming in handy as a layering piece- and it’s only $29!

With this look, I added a punch of color in the red bag and really like how that looks.  You could take it even further with a red lip.

The hat look is strong again too!  Don’t be afraid to experiment with hats.  If you’re not used to wearing them, you might feel weird at first, but they are a fun accessory!

OUTFIT 7

This might be my favorite look of the bunch!  Although all of the tops I wore with the skirt above were solid colors, you could wear a striped top with the leopard pattern or a graphic tee for a relaxed, but still chic vibe.

The sentiment on this tee is so on point which makes me like it even better!

Being such a fan of heels, it was different for me to wear sandals with this skirt, but the black Tory Burch Miller sandals look great with it! And this outfit was so comfortable with flats!

I feel like I could have went on and on with this post! I would love to see the skirt paired with a pretty aqua blue top or colorful heels.  So many options!
