May Loves | Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Good morning friends!  Man, my Monday was looong and it was the first day I missed my 20 minutes!  Booooo!  But, I’m not giving up and I hope you aren’t either!  Today is Day 9 of #move20for30 and I’m back at it!  You can print the 20 Minute Move Challenge chart to track your progress. How’s it going for you?

Today, it’s time for a new Monthly Loves. If you’re new to Loves, it’s where I share things I’m loving each month, with the aim to highlight fabulous things I swear by, some things I want to try, great deals, and under $50 finds! All perfectly appropriate for the flavor of each month!   I love sourcing goodies and putting these collages together for you!  I’m old school and still do them myself (in PicMonkey if you’re wondering;)

This May LOVES is extra special because it focuses on MOM. ♥ I have lots of affordable gift ideas for Mom and several from Amazon with FREE prime shipping! ♥

May Loves Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Air Fryer • I’ve heard so many people raving about an air fryer, which lets you cook your food with little to no oil so that it’s healthier for you.  It also cooks things super fast!  This one from Amazon has over 2,100 positive reviews and comes in four colors. If I don’t get this for Mother’s Day, I’ll probably get it for myself! 😉

Skinny Taste Air Fryer Cookbook • Naturally, to go with the Air Fryer above. 😉

Bath Bombs • If she likes to relax in the bathtub, this Oliver Rocket Bath Bomb set comes with six individually wrapped bombs that help soothe tired skin.  They are under $20 and come in a cute gift box.

Tory Burch Flip Flops • I have these flip flops and they have lasted several years and still look great! If you really want to impress Mom, I’m sure she’d love the Tory Burch Miller Sandals.

Bananas Door Mat • If you know a mom whose house/life/mind/day is Bananas, I’m sure she’ll get a kick out of this! They have some other really cute patterns too!

Floral Robe • Every time y’all see me in my dark blue silky robe, I always get questions about where you can get it.  Unfortunately, mine is sold out, but this one is similar and such a pretty pattern.

Shorts Pajama Set • This pajama set is made of that soft model/spandex blend for a luxurious feel against your skin.  The reviews are really good on these.  #oneforyouoneforme

Mom/Grandma Mug • I’m getting this darling coffee mug for my own mom.  It says, “The best Moms get promoted to Grandma.” My mom certainly loves being a Grandma more than anything in the world, so it’s perfect for her!

Pillow Talk Lipstick & Pillow Talk Lip Liner • This is the lip combo that Suquora used on me and I’ve been getting compliments ever since. It’s a very beautiful pink that looks natural, but polished.

Women’s Daily Devotional • This daily devotional reminds you that God is always there with you and is so very comforting.

Slip Silk Pillow Case • These 100% pure, natural silk pillowcases are said to have all sorts of positive benefits for your skin and hair.  I’m a side sleeper and I bet I could really use one of these.

And while we’re talking sleep, I have to throw in the BEST SHEETS EVER!  We have these on every bed in our house and they are so light and soft and luxurious.  Even when we go to a nice hotel, we miss our sheets at home! Bonus: they’re so inexpensive!  Over 52,000 people agree Mom will love these sheets!

Colleen Rothschild Discovery Kit • This one makes nearly every gift guide I post- it’s THAT good!  And I personally travel with it and have gifted it to the special women in my own life.  The discovery kit includes the CR bestsellers, including the travel case and muslin cloth. It’s on sale for $74 now, $150 value.

I hope this post gave you some ideas for what to get your own mom, or maybe what to ask for for yourself.

I also can’t help but acknowledge that if Mother’s Day is a difficult holiday for you, I’m sending you so much love and may your heart be healed.

Have a fantastic day friends!

  1. So sweet of you to acknowledge those who no longer have their Momma’s here on earth to celebrate with. I know that my Momma would still want me to enjoy my favorite holiday. Thankful for the 49 years I got to have her.

    1. I feel the same way about my Dad so I understand. And I think about those women who want to be mamas and haven’t had their opportunity yet. I have friends in that situation and it’s really painful. Sending so much love.

      1. So hard indeed. I am an adopted child. My folks were unable to have kids and adopted my brother after waiting 6 years and then me after waiting 3 more. We were both adopted as newborns and I believe we were meant for them from conception. My Daddy has been gone since 2010 and my Momma just since 2018.
I am blessed with one child. She’s 23.

        LOVE your blog!
