POLLY WANT A LACQUER?!

I took a break from my pale pink nails to try a pretty new lilac shade and I’m obsessed!  It’s Polly Want a Lacquer? by OPI. I get shellac on my nails every 2-3 weeks and I’ll often give my nails a week break every couple of months. I love shellac because it’s polish over your real nails (so it’s not thick), and it lasts without chipping!  Every time I try to paint my own nails it looks like Jordan did it! Then it chips the next day!

I wanted to share this LOVE again since it’s in my April GIVEAWAY!  This earring ladder is sleek and stylish with the acrylic base and holds 12 pairs of earrings!  Even your longer, statement earrings! #swoon

PRETTY BRAS

I’ve never been one to have a drawer full of gorgeous lingerie.  I usually have two bras that I rotate and that’s it (along with my trusty strapless)!  But, I finally decided to treat myself to some new (pretty!) bras in beautiful Spring hues and I’m so glad I did. All of these bras are great quality, comfortable on and provide good support.

J.CREW ONE PIECE SWIMSUIT

Houston keeps giving us teases of pool weather, so I got to wear one from my recent swimwear post.  It’s fully lined with laser cutouts in the cutest floral pattern.  They back provides moderate coverage (not too cheeky), but the legs are cut higher on the sides, which elongates the look of your legs.  You can also wear it with the removable shoulder strap.  The bust padding is also removable.

It’s running low in sizes in the bright red, but there’s plenty of sizes in navy.  I’m wearing Size 4.

STRAW HAT & TORTOISE SUNGLASSES

In fact, this whole hat and sunglasses are pretty much what I wear everyday.  I keep both in my car and throw them on to keep my face out of the sun.

The hat is PERFECT!!  It’s adjustable, comfortable, packable, cute as heck!, and only $16!  I love it so much, I just ordered the black. I’m wearing the ‘khaki’ here.

The sunglasses are a chic shape, (big, but not too big) very comfortable too and have held up well.  I’m so hard on sunnies!  They’re normally a steal at only $24, but they’re currently 40% off!

MAC LIPSTICK ‘Eros’

Every time I wear this lip color on Stories, I’m flooded with questions about what it is!  Y’all love it!  It’s a bright pinky red that is very flattering as well as moisturizing.  You can order it directly from MAC with free shipping, returns and a sample on all orders!

MAKEUP ERASER

OMG!! Where has this been all my life?! I stumbled upon this magical cloth when I was complaining to my friend Jamie that I can never get all of my mascara off.  No matter how ‘clean’ my face seemed after washing and even using a makeup remover, I’d wake up in the morning with black makeup residue under my eyes!

Jamie told me about the Makeup Eraser cloths and I could kiss her on the mouth! I can’t even explain how this cloth works because it doesn’t have any product or chemical on it- it’s just made of 100% polyester.  BUT, it works like a charm to remove all your makeup with water only, including waterproof eyeliner and mascara.

How To Use :

  • Machine wash the Makeup Eraser before using it
  • Soak the cloth, and use the short pile side in short circular motions to remove your makeup
  • Turn over to the longer pile side to exfoliate
  • Then, wash your face with your normal facial wash.  I use Radiant Cleansing Balm. Colleen Rothschild’s Best Sellers are currently 25% off with code BEST25.

Jamie also turned me on to the Rodan + Fields Complete Eye Makeup Remover and it works really well too! With that makeup remover, you just shake it, then apply it to a cotton pad and wipe over your eye area to remove your makeup.

They also make a mini Make Up Eraser!  This one is smaller, perfect for travel.

KID’S FULL COLOR BIBLE

You might have seen I’ve been out at Michael’s and Walmart getting things to fill up the kids’ Easter baskets.  I enjoy getting the little goodies and chocolate bunnies, but I’m really looking forward to giving James a new Bible this year.  I researched online and found this one that’s suggested for 9-12 year olds.  They also have a younger version meant for 6-10 year olds, but one thing I like about this one is that it has color pages and is very ‘kid friendly’.

  1. Have you ever tried Jojoba oil to take off eye makeup? It works really well for me, and it’s not another chemical on my face.

  2. That swimsuit is so cute on you! I got it in the bikini – the color is so fun! Love that polish and I want to try the makeup remover towel.

  3. Cute! Love it all. Did I miss the name of the lipstick? I saw the link but it doesn’t take me to the right color.
