Thank you to Macy’s and ShopStyle for sponsoring today’s post. I’m honored to be a Macy’s ambassador and will be bringing you a new post full of goodies at Macy’s for the next five months!
Hello friends! We’re back from a wonderful Spring Break getaway to San Antonio and it was seriously so awesome to do just a mini trip for a few days. It’s pretty easy to just pack up and go on a road trip when your destination is only 3 hours away. The kids had an absolute blast and even I felt like a kid again when we rode roller coasters at Six Flags!
I’ll be giving you a full recap next week with all the details on where we stayed and what we did. It’s a great family resort and I highly recommend it!
I’m so happy we’re finally (officially) into Spring this week! It’s one of my favorite seasons to decorate for with the addition of all the pretty pastel colors after a long, dreary winter. One of the things I love to do is create a pretty table, and I found almost everything for this one at
Macy’s! They have such a great selection of Spring and Easter decor and of course, Easter dresses for both you and your girls.
SPRING EASTER TABLE
When I’m decorating a table, I like to keep it relatively simple, and I usually find one thing that sets the theme. Here, it was all about the florals. I first saw this gorgeous
Peony Centerpiece and I took it from there. The colors in the centerpiece are a pretty blush pink with green leaves inside a small glass bowl. This looks great on the table, but would also dress up a vanity, bathroom or bookshelf.
The centerpiece is from the
Martha Stewart Easter Collection and the whole line is a breath of fresh air. It’s a mix and match of seasonal plates, bowls, dinnerware sets and serving pieces accented with florals, and darling bunny shapes to help outfit your Spring table.
I also added in a mix of fresh flowers to help the table come alive. I liked the pop of vibrant purple against all the pastels.
I found the cute little bunny statue at my local grocery store, but then I saw that Macy’s has these
cute wooden bunny figures.
This table is set for a brunch, but we haven’t gotten that far yet. We did, however, make room for cupcakes! How cute are these little Spring floral cupcakes?! I wish I could say I made them, but the local bakery gets credit for them! I placed them on the three-tiered
Cupcake Tree to give the table some height and so that they’d be pretty display.
It’s always nice to elevate your table with cloth napkins and I love the
floral embroidery on these. They come in a set of four with different colors and varieties of flowers.
The floral egg platter was one of my favorite pieces and it made me want to get the whole dinnerware collection! It’s a beautiful way to display your kids’ homemade dyed eggs or the pretty ones you collect!
Jordan waited so patiently to dig into these cupcakes, and let me tell ya, that’s HARD for a 3 year-old!
I went in for a “cheers” but she’s already about to dig in! #mygirl
Of course, her favorite part is the icing! She always eats only that part and skips the cake!
We stepped outside so I could show you a better look at our Easter dresses!
Jordan picked out hers and she loves it so much, she’s already been wearing it nonstop. Her dress is an aqua gingham with a bow front and bunny and egg embroidery along the bottom. I think the sleeves are so cute with the white trim.
My dress is a flattering fit and flare style that comes in several colors, but I chose the “blossom” pale pink for Easter. It’s a nice length and the mesh panels are a fun detail. I dressed it up with a statement necklace and nude heels.
DRESS FIT : TTS, I’m wearing 0P.
I can’t wait to create her Easter basket this year and watch her delight over the goodies inside! This girl is sooo much fun and gets a kick out of everything!

Thanks Kirsten! I bought the fabric and had them sewn!

So very sweet! Could you please tell me where your kitchen table came from???? It’s beautiful!! Thanks!
Hi Angie! We love it too- it’s from Restoration Hardware. It’s actually held up really well over the couple years we’ve had it. I’m very happy with it!
Where do the placemats come from?
Hi! I’ve had those for many years from West Elm!
