Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

Yay for Friday! Yay for February! Finally. I was beginning to think January would never end!  But it ended on a high note with the launch of our Get Fit Done Guide, the cutest vacation collection, best sales and a giant round up of the whole month here.

Monday will be an exciting day too because we’ll be starting Week 1 of Get Fit Done together!  Download your Guide here, then join me in our private Get Fit Done Facebook group and follow along on Stories this weekend to see how I’m prepping for next week.  You’ll need 1 jump rope, 1 set of medium weights, a timer (you can use your phone) and a mat.  Who’s ready to do this?!

February is a happy month for me.  Jordan turns three, then two days later, I turn 44!  I think. Isn’t it crazy how you get confused about your age as you get older?! Double digits like that means it’s gonna be a good year, right?! And of course, February brings Valentine’s Day- a day to celebrate your love, friends, kids, parents . . .  Heck, there’s no rule that says you can’t just celebrate yourself!  😉

Today, I put together a fun little gift guide that includes some things on my own Valentine’s Day wish list!

Valentine's Day Gift Guide

Fit Bit • Heart Pullover • Sugar Lip Set • Anthropologie Reed Diffuser • Glass Candle • Facial Roller • Mini Bluetooth Speaker

Barefoot Dreams Throw • Pink Pumps • Leather Tote Bag

Fit Bit • It’s been on my list forever, maybe it’s time to pull the trigger.  It tracks your heart rate, steps, and calories burned, while letting you make calls, access texts, apps and calendar. If you have one, let me know how you like it!

Heart Pullover • I think this cozy pink zip pullover is perfect for February.  Isn’t the little red heart cute?!

Sugar Lip Set • This lightly tinted lip moisturizer is amazing!  Not only does is smell nice, but it feels good on your lips too.  It’s my go-to when I don’t feel like wearing regular lipstick, but still want a hint of natural color.

Anthropologie Reed Diffuser • These diffusers not only smell delicious, they make a nice decor element.

Glass Candle • Who doens’t enjoy a gorgeous, quality candle?!  I light a candle in my office every morning when I’m up alone early and the house is quiet.  I light one in the kitchen after it’s all clean in the evening.  And I light candles in the living room every evening to help me wind down and relax.  This beautiful glass candle with petite dots gets rave reviews for the size (5 inches), scent, wick and wax. It also comes in all the shades of the rainbow.

Facial Roller • I’ve heard amazing things about this stone facial roller, Ali-Shaun says she loves hers.  You roll the beautiful rose quartz in upward motions on your face to reduce puffiness and wrinkles by helping drain the lymphatic system.  Facial rolling is said to be super relaxing and the rose quartz corresponds to the heart charka, the energy center of LOVE.

Mini Bluetooth Speaker • Now this is cool.  It’s hard to tell the size from the photo, but it’s the size of a coffee pod!  It’s gotten tons of great reviews for the sound quality and is only $29.  I’m thinking of getting James the blue one!

Barefoot Dreams Throw • Hands down the most popular blanket in our home, this cozy throw is on sale under $50!

Pink Pumps • You can’t go wrong with a pop of bring to brighten up your outfit.

Leather Tote Bag • This pretty pale pink tote caught my eye because it has lots of organization features, including an exterior pocket that comes in handy!  It’s on sale 30% off too!

Meet Megan

Hi! I’m Megan, mom to a thoughtful teenager and spunky young girl. We call Houston home and recently moved into our dream home. I traded my lawyer hat to become a full-time blogger in 2010. I love sharing my passion for affordable fashion, home decor, organization, & fitness to help inspire you to take care of you!

  1. I got a FIt Bit Versa for Christmas and LOVE it! I’ve become obsessed with tracking my steps everyday and get so much satisfaction from watching the celebration on it when I reach my goal. 🙂 🙂 I actually got the pink one you showed but ended up ordering a white brand from Amazon for like $8. I love that I can switch up the bands for so cheap. And of course I like knowing my heart rate during workouts and how it tracks so many other helpful stats during them too. Can’t say enough good things about it. My favorite health purchase in a long time!

    1. Oh no way! I need to check that out! I loved tracking my heart rate when I ran, but my polar heart rate monitor stopped working, so I haven’t been able to do that. It was cool because it would let me know when my heart rate was too high.

  2. I got a FitBit and loved how much it helped me move. I was overestimating how active I was during the day. I ultimately wanted more and upgraded to an Apple Watch. If I had it to do over again I’d go straight for the Apple Watch instead of making two purchases. (Obviously only applies if you use an iPhone.) But I think they are great.

  3. Agree with Chelsey above. I’ve had both, and the Apple Watch just does so much more, and the version 3 is on sale for only $20 more than the Fitbit. Definitely worth it, just for the built in GPS alone!

  4. Hi Megan, Do you have an affiliate link with Dyson? I am seriously considering buying the V 8 and would like you to get the credit for it. Your review was the first I had heard about this life changer. Also, what is your opinion of having to hold down the trigger for the duration of vacuuming? I have arthritis and am concerned the trigger may require good hand strength. Hoping it is more of hair trigger. Thank you. Brenda

    1. You are so sweet to even consider that Brenda! That Dyson changed my life! I use it every singe day, sometimes twice a day! You do have to hold the trigger down the entire time. My son uses it too. But, I’m not sure with your arthritis. I saw one reviewer with arthritis said she had a hard time with it. I wish you lived near me and I’d let you try it out! My link is:

  5. Instead of th Fitbit I HIGHLY recommend th Apple Watch. It does so much more and you will wonder how u lived without it. Especially with young kids and not always being next to you phone it helps to know if someone messages or calls you. Even has a little ding function to find your phone hen u don’t know where you left it.
