GIBSON X HI SUGARPLUM LAUNCH
Today is more good news! Gibson is at it again and teamed up with my dear friend Cassie to produce the most darling resort wear! Think winter getaway to somewhere warm, Spring Break vacations and on into summer! This collection is sold exclusively at Nordstrom, and you can shop the entire happy collection here!
This collection has you covered with mix and match pieces that are as versatile as they are cute and comfy! I swear every piece has me scheming a way to get somewhere warm fast so I can wear them nonstop! I’m lucky to have Cassie on speed dial, so you know I was first in line to get my hands on her latest collection so I could show it to you on launch day! I ordered nearly one of everything put it all in this handy post for you so you can see how the pieces mix and mingle!
FIT TIP : I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, athletic build (bigger legs), weighing about 110 and wear a 34D bra. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XSP in tops and dresses. I’m wearing XSP in everything.
STYLE TIP : Your strapless bra will come in handy with this collection to avoid showing straps with many of the tops and dresses! I highly recommend this one!
RUFFLE HEM ROMPER
Can we ever get enough palm print in our lives?! I think the pattern still looks fresh and modern, especially in this ruffle hem romper with the way it’s cut and flatters the body. It’s lined with pockets and the cutest ruffle trim! It also comes with the patterned tie belt.

I appreciate the little details like a snap closure in the front to avoid embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions.
But seriously, how darling is this round woven bag?! I ordered it for my last Amazon fashion post, but forgot to share it! I’m crazy for the unique shape and it’s actually functional too. It opens wide so you can easily fit and find your things!
Oversized Button Down Tunic
Next up, this Miami-inspired button down tunic will take you from beach coverup to seaside dining with just a change of pants. The fabric is easy breezy and the candy cane stripes are lighthearted and fun.

EMBROIDERED TRIM TEE
If you’re a jeans, t-shirt and flip flops kind of gal, you’ll like this next outfit. Instead of a basic v-neck tee, this one has sweet embroidery detail along the neckline. It also has slightly belled sleeves and flows nicely from your body. My jean shorts are the ‘old faithfuls’ I wore all year long last year and they’re still going strong!

Wide Leg Pant & Scoop Back Tank
When I first got a sneak peek of this resort collection, one of my initial faves were these wide leg striped pants! I love a good palazzo pant that makes you feel like you’re lounging around in pajamas, but you also feel chic at the same time. I love pairing them with my bikini or swimsuit or a tank or tee and wedges for lunch with the girls.
They’re incredibly comfortable on with a drawstring elastic waist, and pockets. The blue and white striped pair look great with neutral tops as well as vibrant colors.
FIT: I think I could have sized down to the XXSP in these pants so they’d be a tad smaller and shorter in the length, but they may shrink in the wash like the tank. I’m wearing XSP.

Swing Halter Dress
I couldn’t resist another palm print piece from the collection, so I got the halter swing dress in this print too. This is exactly the type of mini dress I love to wear in the summer when I want to look a little more dressed up, but still feel casual. It’s fully lined and has a cute tie halter back.

With this halter style dress, you can wear a racerback bra or strapless. I swear by this strapless bra, if you don’t have it already, I promise you need it in your life!
Easy Lounge Romper
Don’t tell the others, but this little striped romper might be my favorite from the entire collection! In a sea of beautiful patterns and prints, stripes still get me every time, but it’s the soft knit fabric and versatility that put this one over the edge for me.
I could totally see this being an outfit I wear all.the.time- around the house, running errands, to the pool, as a coverup. Heck, I might even wear it to bed!

Tie Back V-Neck
This brown tie back top with white polka dots brought me back to Julia Roberts at the polo game in Pretty Woman. Can you believe that was almost 30 years ago?! 1990! I felt all classy and chic in it! I especially love it with white jeans!

Ruffled Racerback Dress
One touch racerback dress and you’ll fall in love! It’s that amazingly soft and cozy material Gibson is known for and when you wear it, you’ll feel like you have on that softest sweatshirt you’ve perfectly worn in over the years! But, this dress doesn’t look all rumpled and old like your sweatshirt! 😉
