We made it to Friday friends! What a fun and exciting week it’s been around here! YOU guys have made it just the best with your enthusiastic response to the Gibson x Glam collection! Have you gotten your pieces yet?! I can’t wait to hear what you think when you put them on! Especially the MEGAN top! If you need some style inspiration, check out 14 ways to mix & match for head to toe Holiday Outfits.
Lots of the Best Sales are still going strong, including the Nordstrom Fall Sale, so don’t miss out on that before it ends Sunday! It’s a great opportunity to knock out some of your Christmas shopping early! Also, if you have holiday family photos planned, these tips will (hopefully!) help make it more fun and less stressful!
I can hardly believe it’s already Thanksgiving next week! Maybe I’m just getting older, but this year feels like it’s flying by! The big day filled with food and family will be here Thursday and of course I’m already thinking about what to wear. Last year, I wore jeans, but I’m thinking I’ll keep it cozy and comfy in leggings this time. No pesky buttons to undo after eating all day! 😉
One of my favorite pair of leggings has lasted me for years. This pair by HUE with the wide waistband. They are great quality, totally opaque and fit like a glove without squeezing. They fit TTS and I wear XS, and just cuff the extra length under or let it bunch at the ankle where no one sees anyway when I’m wearing boots.
I found an ultra soft and silky tunic tee that’s long enough to wear with leggings, then created more looks to give you some layering options.
You can’t go wrong with a lightweight circle cardigan that’s flattering with the circle hem.
Or, for something warmer, I love this chunky cable knit cardigan with wooden buttons. You can tie it with the belt it comes with it leave it off.
If you want to dress up your leggings a little, a button down top is a great way to do so while adding a pop of color and pattern. Then, you can add either a soft v-neck tunic over to keep you warm or a colorful puffer vest.
What will you be wearing on Thanksgiving?! Honestly, even as comfortable as leggings are, when I get back home, I’ll change right away into either holiday pajamas or the coziest joggers known to woman! I’ve been putting them on religiously everyday since I got them!
GIFTS UNDER $50
Last week I shared my first Holiday Gift Guide with you (Stocking Stuffers) and today it’s all about those fun, under $50 gifts that any woman in your life would appreciate.
If you’re traveling to see family or heading to someone else’s home for Thanksgiving, it’s always nice to bring a little something for the host. I’m sure she’d love this dessert plate, pretty serving bowl or lovely apron.
GIBSON X GLAM
The Gibson x Glam collaboration was one of the most fun and exciting thing I’ve gotten to be a part of since I started blogging almost 9 years ago. I didn’t even have it in my wildest dreams that I’d get to collaborate on a clothing line that would be sold at Nordstrom.
It’s a store I was first introduced to as a young girl when my two favorite aunts took me shopping and I was in awe and remember having such a fun day with those two. Before that, I don’t think I’d ever even been shopping in a department store. Needless to say, this is a full circle, pinch me kind of moment.
Thank YOU so much for your genuine and kind comments and support this week and over the last 9 years. I appreciate you so much!
I’m so honored to be included among this group of smart, kind and overall amazing women! Here are a few more photos from our LA photo shoot that I haven’t shared before. Several of the pieces have already sold out due to your high demand, but there is still lots of GLAM to be had!
