Fall Fashion | STAYING WARM & COZY
Good morning friends! Can you believe Thanksgiving is this week?! It’s our first full week with James home all day and Jordan is in hog heaven! She misses him everyday when he goes to school and she’s already saying she wants to go to preschool! James, on the other hand, is jealous she gets to stay home all day! Isn’t that how it goes?!
Do you have fun Thanksgiving plans?! We’ll be heading to my sis-n-law’s house and it’s always a good time with all the cousins. Her house is always lively and she’s a great cook! I love all the food, but the appetizers and desserts are my fave!
Today I’ve got two Thanksgiving friendly outfits, and then a cute athleisure outfit that you can do all your Black Friday running around in. That is, if you happen to brave the crowds! I prefer to do my shopping in cozy pj’s on the couch!  These looks are all from Macy’s and you’ll catch big savings at their Black Friday Preview sale with code SCORE. The sale goes until Wednesday, so you can shop it now!
OUTFIT #1
First up, is everyone’s fave: a cozy pullover with jeans and booties!
Jeans • Cowl Neck Pullover • Scarf  • Booties • Leopard Print Clutch
This pullover is fleece lined on the inside so it will definitely keep you all snuggly and warm inside. In fact, we took these pictures on a particularly rainy and humid day, and I was actually sweating underneath! #bloggerproblems
I had a hard time choosing a color, but you can’t go wrong with charcoal grey. The pink was my next choice. I also love the criss cross detail in the front that helps flatter your shape by not cutting you off straight across visually.
PULLOVER FIT : TTS, I’m wearing XS
Have you gotten yourself a Starbuck’s drink lately?! It’s funny how much I look forward to the holiday cups every year. I don’t think I’ve seen this green style before.
You’ve seen these jeans before. I’ve actually had them for a long time and they look good as new.
But can we talk about these booties?! The “Toffee” is such a gorgeous, warm shade of brown that you can easily mix and match with so many tops and sweaters. The lower heels are comfortable and I also like how the toe is rounded, but slightly pointy so help your legs look longer.
BOOTIES FIT : I ordered my normal size in these, and they felt a little tight at first, but have stretched with wear. Overall, I’d say they fit TTS. They also come in wide widths.
Even the zipper is cute?! No wonder they have over 1,000 positive reviews at Macy’s. That’s one of the things I appreciate when I shop online there, the easy to read customer reviews (not to mention the big, clear photos). There’s nothing more frustrating when shopping online than when the photos are tiny or poor quality.
Are you pulling out your scarves yet?! We are! We actually got snow flurries last week! In Houston!
I found so many cute scarves, just click on the photos below to shop.
OUTFIT #2
Did I just mentioned it almost snowed last week? Just when it was starting to look like Fall, our temps got down to freezing! Just perfect for getting all snuggled in this cozy zip jacket and fur lined booties!
Jeans • Plaid Top • White Tank • UGG Boots • Similar Bag •  The North Face Jacket
Let’s talk about the cozy goodness of this fuzzy fleece jacket. Â It zips all the way – which I like because you can wear it when it’s just a little cold unzipped or all the way for those really cold snaps. There’s even the little cinch cord in case you don’t want any cold are getting in!
JACKET FIT : The jacket fits TTS. I’m wearing size XS and there’s still room to layer under a sweater if you want.Â
It comes in 5 pretty fall colors – of course you can’t go wrong with the black or white. But, the jewel tones are rich and gorgeous. The creamy white color goes with any outfit and just seems so much softer!
If you’re mad for plaid, you’ll like this plaid button down top. The colors are perfectly Fall inspired and the material is on the lightweight side and soft.
My booties are rivaling my love for the jacket though. Ever since I got these, I’ve been using every excuse to wear them. They are the coziest boots with that sheepskin lining to keep your feet extra warm.
The lower style and side cutout make these more of an everyday cozy boot – which I’m all about. I think they are so cute and won’t overwhelm a petite frame.
BOOTIES FIT : They run about a 1/2 size small. I ordered my regular size and have worn them barefoot or with a thin sock without it being too tight.
I wore these boots to the Nutcracker Market and my feet have never felt better, even after a full day of walking!
Jeans • Plaid Top • White Tank • UGG Boots • Similar Bag •  The North Face Jacket
OUTFIT #3
It doesn’t get much more comfy than leggings, a hoodie and sneakers for running around. Macy’s has my favorite HUE leggings and at a great price!
Sneakers • Leggings • Lace Up Hoodie
I love these mid-rise leggings because they fit perfectly, without being tight or baggy and they are perfectly opaque- no seeing through these babies!
LEGGINGS FIT: These leggings fit TTS, I wear XS and tuck the extra length under.Â
I found a stylish hoodie pullover with shoelace tie detail and couldn’t pass it up. It’s extremely comfy because the inside is so soft. It’s got a kangaroo pocket to tuck your hands into and thumb holes at the sleeves.
Finally, Adidas sneakers never go out of style. I have a plain black pair, but I thought the colorful stitching on these was too cute.
SNEAKERS FIT: TTS, and run wide.
So tell me, what are your Thanksgiving plans? Will you be at home or traveling? Dressing up or staying casual?? Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving week!Â
*A big thank you to Macy’s and ShopStyle for sponsoring this Fall fashion post.Â
