Work . Weekend . Wow | White Jeans (Part 2)

We had such a nice bonus day off school yesterday and spent the day running around town, eating lunch and doing a little shopping with the kiddos and my mom! Our weather has been glorious lately, so it was nice to enjoy the sunshine outside and feel like we were playing hooky on Monday!  Look how happy Jordan was to find this tent! It’s got my brain swirling with ideas for her big girl room! But first, we gotta finish our master bedroom– and James!

WORK • WEEKEND • WOW | WHITE JEANS

As promised, I have Part 2 of our Work • Weekend • Wow white jeans series.  Check out Part 1 here, with three more ways to wear your white jeans!  And get caught up on all the WWW posts here.

And to answer your burning question about what undies are the best for not showing through your white jeans, get these! They are so comfortable and definitely ‘barely there’ but not a thong.  And this is the hipster version.  If you prefer a thong, these are the ones I like for under white jeans.

• WORK •

I’m excited to show you how white jeans can work for the office, and with a shell top and a blazer, this look can still be polished and professional!

I kept the outfit monochromatic except for the pop of blue in the blazer. Dressing in all one color from head to toe looks so chic!  Gold jewels that aren’t too overwhelming finish off the look.

A silky blouse like this is a Must-Have for every professional women’s wardrobe.  They go with everything from suits to skirts and also look great worn casually for a night out.  The silky material feels great against your skin and will keep you cool during hot summers. This one comes in a whole rainbow of colors and you can machine wash it!

Top Fit:  It runs TTS, I’m wearing XSP.

I feel like I hit the jackpot with this blazer because it is well tailored, nice quality, three-quarter sleeves with a tiny bit of ruching.  It fits true to size,  and is meant to be slim fitting. I’m wearing size XS.  Did I mention it’s under $80?! I love it so much I just got it in white also!

You’ve seen a lot of this bag lately because it’s so versatile.  You can carry it by the handle without the straps, or with the strap as a crossbody bag.  The blush pink color is really pretty for Spring!

I’m wearing the Paige jeans from yesterday. I like them because they are totally opaque, very comfortable and stretchy- like a cross between a jean and jegging- with faux front pockets, and a cute white button.  The only con is the price, but when you find the holy grail of jeans, sometimes they are worth the splurge.

White Jeans Fit:  I originally reported they fit TTS and I’m wearing 25, but after wearing them for a day, I felt like I could have sized down 1 to a 24.

• WEEKEND •

I’m crazy for this fun weekend look with white jeans, a casual three-quarter sleeve striped top and the ever popular Tory Burch Miller sandals!

I’m wearing the double freyed hem white jeans, which have quickly become a wardrobe Must Have!  They are opaque, lightweight, a great fit, and reasonably priced!

White Jeans Fit:  TTS, wearing 25.

Especially this time of year, a 3/4 sleeve top is what I find myself reaching for everyday!  This striped top fits the bill and I’m smitten with the coral color.  It’s a nice change from my typical black and white stripes! It’s on sale too- 33% off!

Weekends off mean ponytails, topknots, or disguising a bad hair day with a hat!  I chose this chambrey hat knowing it would go with every outfit!

I actually like wearing a hat on the weekends to shield my face from the sun! If I’m ever running outside or going to the pool, you bet you’ll find me wearing a visor!

Next week, I will share with you my morning beauty routine, and it always includes sunscreen! Even my kids don’t mind this mousse, and I’ve been using this makeup setting mist with SPF50 as the last step after applying my makeup.  You don’t even feel it, and it gives you that added layer of sun protection! #notsponsored

You’ve heard me raving about these sandals before, they are made to last, come in a ton of fun colors and patterns, and you can wear them all day without your feet aching. I’m wearing the color ‘makeup’.

Sandals Fit: Size up half when you order these sandals. They run small.

I can still add a little pizzazz and contrast to your outfit with the fun pendant necklace.  I love the colors in this one, it seems to go with everything in my closet!

And last but not least, we have our well look! Getting a little bit dressed up for a night out always makes it more fun, don’t you think?!  This wrapped up with ruffle sleeves is flirty and feminine and I love how the tie waist accentuates the smallest part of your body!

Thanks to Ali-Shaun for the BD Earrings & Jamie for the bracelets!

I just saw that this exact top is sold out #booooo!!! so I found two similar that would be a great alternative.  This pale blue top mimics the color in the original top and ties at the waist with flounce sleeves, but doesn’t have the stripes. This one is nearly identical in style, but in a gorgeous bold red!

This suede fold-over clutch has been my go to lately for nights out. I love the color and simple design with the metal handle. It looks really expensive, but is under $70.

You can go a little bolder with your jewelry for night, so I added a statement necklace.  If you have one great statement necklace in your closet that you love, you’ll never get tired of wearing it!

I’m wearing my very favorite pair of distressed white jeans.  Because of the distressing, I wouldn’t wear them to work, but they sure make for a perfect weekend or night out look. These feel so good on and I can comfortably wear them all day!

Jeans Fit: TTS, I’m wearing my normal size 25.

  1. I always LOVE your jewelry – and it looks like you have a sizable collection…How do you keep it organized? Do you color code, keep sets together, organize by rings/bracelets/necklaces?? I would love to hear how you do it – I’ve followed your blog long enough to know that you are a very organized person. It would be great if you did a post about accessory organizing. And forgive me if you’ve already done a post like that – and I missed it! I really enjoy your blog and look forward to more!
