Wow, yesterday was definitely a manic Monday! When we got home late on Sunday night, even though I was tired, I made sure the kitchen was all clean, unpacked ALL the suitcases and put all the dirty clothes outside the laundry room, and made a to-do list for Monday so I could wake up a little ahead of the game. It took awhile, but all the laundry is done, folded, and put away! A major feat! But, I have to stay on top of it because I’m heading out of town again Thursday for a blog conference. Busy, busy week!!
Today, I have a super cute little striped shirt dress to share with you! This one I originally shared in a Dressing Room post and I knew right away it was a winner! I got mine at Nordstrom, but sizes are limited there, so it’s also available in more sizes and colors here!
Dress Fit Tip: The dress runs a little small, I’m wearing size XS and normally wear XSP. It’s minidress length also, I’m 5’1 for reference.
This dress is stretchy, comfy perfection and with everybody’s favorite stripe pattern! The criss cross tie top gives it a playful, nautical feel and isn’t too revealing. It’s perfect for running weekend errands and looking cute while doing so, especially if you paired them with these white sneaks!
It seems I’m smitten with soft blue lately, this Suede Foldover Clutch with an o-ring handle is such a gorgeous shade and easy to carry. It matches my Tory Burch Miller Sandals perfectly! They come is several colors and even prints now! I was hesitant to invest so much in a pair of flip flops, but everyone says they last forever and I have found them super comfortable and great quality!
Sandals Fit Tip: Size up half because they run small. I’m usually a 6 and got a 6.5, which fit perfectly.
For this cool weather, I brought along my fave dark wash jean jacket to wear. You can also belt it around your waist for a casual look.
Jacket Fit Tip: The jacket runs small, but if you like it fitted, order your normal size. I’m wearing an XS.
You don’t have to worry about the white part of the dress being see through- it’s completely opaque. Of course I wore my seamless undies with it.
I think I forgot to tell you, but the last time I was at Nordstrom with my girlfriend, the lingerie manager was helping us with a bra fitting and we got on the topic of undies and she said those seamless undies were her absolute favorite too and she was wearing them right then, and I was too! We were cracking up! She said all her customers rave about them. They have some new pretty colors like coral and lavender out now for Spring, so I stocked up!

But back to the Tory Burch Miller Sandals I’ve had several people ask me what one color I would buy if I was only getting one pair. I originally chose the light blue “Seltzer” because I think that color is so gorgeous and will go with most of my neutrals wardrobe to give it a little kick. It also looks especially good with my favorite pale pink nail color and also white nails in the summer. 😉
As far as the nude colors, the “Makeup” is lighter and the “Vintage Vachetta Leather” is more cognac, both good choices, but I chose the “Makeup” as a color that would definitely work with everything for Spring and Summer.
The black are another great neutral, but I always feel like unless I have a tan, that color is too stark against my skin.
But, like I mentioned above, there are lots of color to choose from, even prints and florals, so go with your gut and you won’t regret it!
What color is your favorite??
See y’all tomorrow with my updated morning routine!
