Hello friends! I must admit I’m a little bit in awe that Christmas is in just a few days and 2018 is right on it’s heels! Where did this year go?! Every year seems to fly by, but this one especially seems to have gone super quick! I think it’s because Jordan is going from 1 to 2 and that brings so many changes so fast! You guys should hear her talking up a storm now! She’s stringing words together and it’s the cutest thing! I’ll have to capture it on Stories so you can hear her adorable little toddler voice!
It’s been a month since my last Outfits Lately post, so today’s the day for a look back at recent outfits. Even though I work from home and often wear the same things on repeat, (hello, cozy pullover!) I hope this inspires you to take a few minutes for yourself and put your outfits together in new ways.
I’m smitten with the colors in this wide striped sweater. It fits TTS, but size up if you want a looser fit. I’m wearing XS. P.S. loving this hobo bag too, it’s a perfect size and suede trimmed for under $70! ? AND, I’m always thrilled when I get to announce that my FAVE skinny mini jeans are on sale! These are worth the splurge and fit TTS. They have a raw edge hem that I trimmed carefully with scissors to my desired length, and fold up the ankle so a bit of skin shows with my ankle booties.
Holy coziness! I’m calling this the ? Teddy Bear ? fleece and it’s awesome! ? The inside has a super soft t-shirt lining and it comes in three colors, including a blush pink! ? I wish it came in XS, this Small (the smallest size) is a bit big on me.? But, my Mom lucked out because I ended up passing this cozy goodness onto her!
When you’re in jeans almost daily, it’s nice to put on a dress once in awhile! This “magic” dress has the perfect amount of ruching to be flattering on every body type – I even wore it pregnant! ? It comes in a ton of colors and also sleeveless. The Poncho is a great layering piece and won’t overwhelm a petite frame.
The colors in this tunic sweater are so vibrant and fun! It also has a cute split-wrist detail on the sleeve. Bonus that it’s long enough to go with your leggings! This is my favorite pair with a super comfy wide waistband!
These boyfriend jeans are a nice alternative to your skinnies when you ate too many holiday desserts the night before! They fit TTS and aren’t so boyfriend baggy that they sag- more like a slim “girlfriend” jean. These slip on sneaks have been one of my best discoveries this year! They are awesome for running around for hours while keeping your feet cool and comfy!
One of the most popular items on my blog and IG in the last few weeks has been this candy cane striped tunic! It’s actually on sale today 50% off, so if you haven’t grabbed it yet, get it before it sells out! It also dresses up well with red heels!
In Houston, we feel lucky to have had several sweater-weather days in the last month! This chunky knit with all my fave neutral colors and a hint of pink is a colorblock beauty! And I take any opportunity to get snazzed up with OTK boots! This grey pair is currently a steal at under $80!
This traditional cable knit sweater got an update with cold shoulders. If you like breaking out of basic, this is a good way to do it! I have the say, the cognac booties are getting a lot of wear lately too! The v-cutout in the front elongates your leg and I’m crazy for the darker toe. This pair is similar for less if you want an alternative.
Here’s the pullover that I put on to wear as soon as I bought it AND have been living in ever since! It’s sooo soft and cozy and not at all bulky! I like it so much, I just bought a second one in teal!
I was feeling all festive getting my Christmas shopping on in this fleece vest and red top! The bag I designed from Barrington Bags arrived and it’s perfect! I chose the leopard with a pink/red stripe w an HWH monogram! It’s the Savannah zippered tote! ? At first, I ordered the St. Anne Petite, but it was too small and Jordan thought it belonged to her! So funny how she was carrying it around like it belonged to her!
Total FriYAY over here, which always means a Vietnamese iced coffee ❄️☕️- I’m hooked on them! ? Have you ever tried one?! And this super soft top does double duty- can be worn off the shoulder for date night! ? Jeans are one of my fave budget-friendly brands!
This sleeveless sweater can be worn alone, but since we’ve had some chilly days, I layered a long sleeve tee underneath.
Nothing says holidays like a red plaid scarf and red Hunter boots- although you can barely see mine peeking out. I saw Hunters on sale at Nordstrom with arrival by Christmas Eve!
If you are a softness junkie like I am, this butter soft pullover is a MUST HAVE! It’s seriously the softest thing I’ve put on my body and so lightweight with a high/low hem and comes in lots of colors, including solids! It looks great with the light tan knee high boots and those are on sale too!
We don’t do date night very often, but we did get out for sushi a few weekends ago and it was divine! A random warm weather night had me ditching the cardigan and just wearing a cami and skinny jeans with heels. #datenightuniform Oh, and I can’t forget that pop of leopard!
Two hands up for Friday Night! ? A little bralette peeking past your under $30 sweater never hurt anyone! ? (wearing size M in the bra, XXS in the sweater). AND you will L❤️VE these black skinny coated jeans!! They fit like a glove and are ultra comfy, fit TTS! See Stories for to see this outfit (and 4 more in action!)

This outfit brought me some courage when I went to get my haircut. It was only a few inches, but it looks so much better and more healthy now! I know I have a thing for stripes! When I looked back at this post and saw so many stripes in one post, I was cracking up! Well, at least I know what I like! #stripes #neutrals
Here’s a better look at the cute bubble sleeves:
Oh, look, more stripes! 😉 But also a pop of pink! The UGG slip on moccasins are sooo ultra comfy!
I found this scallop trim cami and couldn’t wait to share! ✨ It’s under $30 and comes in black too, but sizes going quick. ? Fits TTS. The cardigan is so cozy with pockets and under $50.
Lunch ?then Trader Joe’s for the best chocolate covered toffee!? ? They also have the cutest fresh mini wreaths for only $6.50! ? My suede trim hobo bag is new and a great size for everyday! Bubble stitch sweater and booties are both 40% off!
Q: Are you team real tree or fake? ? We’ve always done a fake, pre-lit, but the lights on our current tree burned out after only two years! ? Seeing all the gorgeous trees at the tree farm where we met Santa this weekend makes me want a real tree next year! This plaid top has contrasting patterns and would also be so cute dressed up with a skirt and heels or booties! ♥️
It’s been a jammies early kind of life around here lately! As soon as James gets home from school, he puts his on and I join him!
This shorts pair is perfect for warmer nights or when you’ve got the heat crankin’! Mine say “Merry Kissmas” but they come in other adorable patterns too!
Elastic-waist jogger style pajamas are always a good idea! I don’t mind you knowing the obscene amount of time I’ve spent in these!
And last but not least, these super soft pj’s made their appearance at our Favorite Things party! The pants are fair isle and more fitted, and the top is that soft as kittens fleecy material. They’re so warm and cozy!
Oops! I almost forgot, I’ve gotten lots of questions about my nail polish, so here goes! My favorite winter white is Alpine Snow and my true holiday red is Big Apple Red. I get shellac on my nails so they last about 2 weeks between manicures, but they come in regular polish too.
See you back here tomorrow for our last Dressing Room post of the year!
