How’s your week going friends?  Yesterday was busy busy getting lots of pictures taken of our holiday decor that I’ll be sharing with you on Monday! #yayforthat!  But then, I had to pick up James from school early because he was sick.  I hate getting that call, but thankfully, once he got home, he felt much better.  Later, we lost power and internet #thehorror! in the evening!  Ug!  I almost didn’t get this post finished for today, but I’m glad it worked out!

This month, Nordstrom reached out and asked me to talk about my favorite accessories and fall/winter shoes.  Um, sure thing! Y’all know how much I genuinely  like Nordstrom, it’s my fave one-stop shop, especially at the holidays when I’m looking for gifts. But come to think of it, it’s actually dangerous because it’s very tempting to shop for myself!  I’ll start today with accessories – my tried and true jewelry pieces- necklaces, bracelets, earrings and watch that I wear all the time.

NECKLACES

Pendant Necklace

Pretty much any outfit you wear will look great with this classic Kendra Scott pendant necklace.  I’ve invested in several of them in different colors because they look so good with literally everything. The pendant is a great quality and size and the tassels add the perfect amount of bling. As you can see below, I wear mine with everything from casual sweaters to dresses.

Tassel Necklace

For something a little different, this tassel necklace is a fun twist on the pendant necklace.  I like the black because it will go with lots of my outfits, but below are two similar necklaces (for even less) in grey and blue.  Another good thing about this necklaces is that it isn’t heavy.

Tanner Bar Necklace

For everyday, you’ll most likely find me wearing my simple bar necklace.  I’ve had it for years and it still looks good as new.  The bar is hammered and slightly curved so it has a bit more feminine feel than some straight bar necklaces.  It’s also delicate as opposed to being chunky and looks good layered with other, longer necklaces.

Y Necklace

This Y Necklace is new and I’m in love with the layered look in just one necklace.  It’s got tiny gold discs and looks like three necklaces, but it’s only one!  If you aren’t crazy for the Y part, this one has 5 strands, minus that dangling part.

BRACELETS

I just got this cuff bracelet at a recent event at Kendra Scott so I don’t have that many photos of it, but it’s sooo good!  It’s beautiful in person and very sturdy if that makes sense.  You can just feel by the weight of it how solid it is and how good the quality is. The endcap jewels come in different colors, so you can get one in her (or your) favorite color. 😉

Wrap Bracelet

One of my best friends, Audrey, bought this wrap bracelet for me for Christmas several years ago, so not only is it super cool, it has sentimental value!  The leather band gives it a casual vibe, but the gold studs dress it up. There are two holes in the leather, so you can adjust the fit.  And it comes in multiple colors.

RINGS

I like to keep my rings relatively simple, and my two ‘go-to’ rings are both by Gorjana (she can pretty much do no wrong in my book!)- the Ring Trio and Coil Ring.  The ring trio is three separate rings, and I usually wear them stacked on one finger.   The coil ring is a similar to the ring trio, but, as the name implies, one single coil.  I can wear both of them on either my first or middle fingers and switch it up.

EARRINGS

Ear Jacket Earrings

Probably the earrings I get asked about most are my ‘ear jackets’.  This style of earring has the top part that goes into your ear, and then the bottom is attached to the back, and it hangs down just a little.  I like these as an alternative to my stud earrings because they are still small, but also unique.  My exact pair are sold out, but this pair at Nordstrom are similar and on sale.

Drop Earrings

And if you want more of a statement earring, this pair is gorgeous and very lightweight!  I think these are seriously so pretty!

WATCH

Finally, the watch I wear with almost everything from date night to staying in all day is one similar to this gorgeous rose gold watch by MVMT. I really like the warm tone of rose gold and I’m all about mixing rose gold and gold.  The mesh band is lightweight and it’s simple and stylish.
