Striped Skirt x 2

And just like that, we’re midway through the week again!  I’m heading to Dallas tomorrow for our annual blogging style conference, better known as, Mom’s Night Out!  I’m looking forward to relaxing with my girlfriends, going out to dinner and just being off Mom mode for a couple days. #whatsthatlike?! I’m thankful that my kids are in good hands with Dad and Grandma- they make trips like this possible!
Today, we’re continuing to style up this perfect navy and white striped skirt on sale under $40 two more ways. Yesterday, you saw two ways you could style this skirt for work, and today I have two more fun options for you. Maybe more day date, church, or Spring party appropriate.

This first outfit is one of my favorites for Spring with two of my favorite bright color combos- yellow and aqua.  They are such cheerful colors together and the navy in the skirt helps ground them from becoming too sweet.

You’ve seen this fun off-shoulder top with tie sleeves styled more casually with ripped jeans here, but I love the dressier look with the skirt also. The top is on sale 40% off and also comes in a pretty navy that would go great with the skirt for a more subdued look.  I had to size down to XSP in the top, but it’s actually comfortable to wear because the shoulder has a wide nice elastic to keep the shoulders in place.  The tie at the sleeves is a darling touch.
Wear this strapless bra with it! 😉
Are you guys feeling like Spring yet?  We’ve been having Spring temps for awhile now, but I know a lot of you stayed cold for so much longer.  We also get a ton of rain lately, and like the pictures above and below, lots of windy days!

If you missed yesterday’s post where I detailed the specifics about the skirt, it’s fully lined with hidden side zipper and white grosgrain trim at the waist.  There’s no pockets, which would’ve probably made it even better!
When styling up this skirt, I wanted to show you how you could tuck your top in, wear a belt or tie your top for different looks.  Even with a tied top, you don’t really have to bare your middle (you know how I feel about mine), but it’s a playful look.

My chambray button front top (similar) is a wardrobe staple that I especially like with white shorts and white jeans, but it looks very Americana paired with the navy and white striped skirt and red strappy heels.

For a casual cuffed sleeve, I fold the sleeve up once closer to my elbow, then fold a second time so that the original cuff peeks through the top if that makes sense. I think that looks more relaxed.

Loft has lots of patterned top options that you could also pair with this skirt, if you wanted to mix it up and create more visual interest.  I like this leafy cami and this yellow ruffle shoulder top.  I also love the red lacy sleeved tops here and here.

Many of you were asking about my grey quilted clutch and the closest I could find was this one with gunmetal hardware and chain link.  Zappos has a gorgeous mushroom colored bag with gold hardware that’s on sale 30% off.

I went with my old trusty “Brave Red” lip color for this look.  It’s a true red that definitely makes a statement.

Y’all have seen I’m pretty crazy about these strappy heels!  The bright yellow pair are really pretty too.

It’s so fun putting these looks together for you! I hope you enjoyed them and have new inspiration for pieces in your own wardrobe!
