2016 Recap – Home Decor & Organizing

Are y’all getting settled into the new year? We’ve gotten all of our Christmas decorations taken down, and truth be told, I would’ve actually loved to keep them up longer!  The last thing to go was the Christmas cards and we always save them to look through and see how all the kids have grown and changed over the years.  I’m a new convert to holiday decorating at least some portions of our home before Thanksgiving now because I enjoyed it so much this year!  I will be ready again for the holidays next year for sure!  And I packed everything away really neatly so it won’t be so daunting pulling it back out!
This week, I’m recapping the most popular posts of 2016, and you can see the Fashion Faves here.  Now we’re onto the home decor/organization recap!  The posts below were the most popular in that category last year and I hope you enjoy this round-up.  You can click the pink title above each picture to read the original post. For 2017, I’ll be finally sharing Jordan’s bathroom mini makeover, and our living room and breakfast room refresh.  I still need to put finishing touches on our playroom/media room and I’d love to redo our dining room and half-bath downstairs with wallpaper!  What do you have planned?

  1. You got quite a lot accomplished while expecting and with a little one now underfoot. Looking forward to your new projects.
Oh, and the joys of a little one walking…saw the baby gates on INSTA!! At least now they make "pretty" ones with walk through gates. We used to have to climb over them 😉
