It’s already Wardrobe Wednesday and I’m partnering with Nordstrom to share a Fall trend I’m loving right now – the bomber jacket. I almost chose ‘cold shoulder‘ because that’s another style I’m all about right now, but with Fall on the brain and in the near future, the bomber jacket is, well, #thebomb! #couldntresist
TOP LEFT TO RIGHT
This bomber style jacket is popping up everywhere lately and comes in so many styles, patterns and colors that you can surely find one that suits your personality and wardrobe. I chose a satiny-black bomber jacket with gorgeous pastel floral embroidery because I loved the combo of soft/feminine and edgy.

Isn’t the embroidery detail on this jacket pretty?! It’s only on the front and arms, the back is solid black.
Of course a bomber jacket goes perfectly with jeans (and I’ll show you that look soon) but for something more unexpected, I’m showing you how you can wear it with a skirt. To play up the girly pink and blush tones in this jacket, I chose this pleated midi skirt.
FIT TIP JACKET :: The jacket runs true to size and I’m in an XS. It also has front pockets that zip close.
SKIRT FIT TIP: The skirt is by Topshop, and I’m usually a US4 in that brand, which is what I’m wearing in this skirt, but I think I could’ve tried their petite sizing so it would be a little more fitted in the waist and shorter in the length.
Under the jacket, I wore my fave $18 u-neck tank that you also saw here. I have it in white, grey and black and all of them have held up perfectly well without pilling or shrinking after years of washes.
Throwing that jacket over this outfit makes it a great ‘transition to Fall’ look.
I almost wore a pendant necklace with this outfit, but decided I liked how the floral necklace looked (similar version here). My earrings are old from Kate Spade, but these faux pearl drop earrings sure are pretty.
I don’t know why, but I usually prefer dresses over skirts, so this look is new for me, but I’m digging it!
