Hey, hey, hey fashion luvahs! Today is our day!!  I’m sure I don’t have to remind you that Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale starts today! It’s the biggest sale of the year, and to put it in perspective for my hubby who’s all, ‘what’s the big deal?’  #really?? I explained it’s like the Superbowl of fashion!
The Anniversary sale features all the new Fall arrivals ON MAJOR SALE until August 8th when they go up to full price.  I always love seeing what’s new for Fall, especially the boots and booties, faux fur vests, coats, sweaters, jeans, even workout clothes and bags/accessories and beauty. Heck, who am I kidding?! I love it all! And I really love getting a chance to buy before the prices go up.

My Nordstrom catalog came a couple weeks ago and, at first, I wasn’t too excited over what I saw. But, when I gave it a second look, so many more things jumped out at me.  I tabbed and circled and made notes of what caught my eye and I’m sharing it with you today.  I got to preview the sale yesterday – did you see on Snapchat (@honeywerehome)? and updated this post in blue italics after I got to see some things in person.  But, a lot of it wasn’t at my store, which was such a bummer! I tried on a bunch of Fall clothes too (which did seem kinda weird given it’s still 100 degrees here!) and I just need to upload my pics to the blog and I’ll share them with you tomorrow!

The first thing I noticed was the deep red hues; everything from lipstick to bags to boots.  Such a sexy color for Fall!

Louise Et Cie Shoulder Bag now $169.90, after sale $258 *this bag was at my store and also comes in black and a snakeskin that’s really pretty.  I liked how it stayed closed too, the crossbody bag I wore shopping kept flying open!

These would certainly perk up your work day! They were all so pretty in person and looked very luxe.  The pointy-toe tie flats come in three colors.

I’m loving these booties, but #2 (Rag & Bone) & #3 (Rag & Bone) look very similar to my Sole Society booties already in my closet from last year and they’re still in good shape.  Also, these higher end styles are still pricey even with the sale, but if you have to have them #Igetit! I’d buy them now before they go up!

I ended up trying on boots with a random female customer that was a hoot!  We were comparing notes and offering our opinions on each other’s shoe choices.  She was trying on those Rag & Bone booties and they looked great on her and she said they were super comfy and she ended up buying them.  
 
We both ended up buying these– in the same color, cognac!

So different to see the stone on this kind of choker.  Really makes a statement.  Dang, this wasn’t at my store either and I even asked the saleslady if she could find it but no luck.  Online, it’s also in green and onyx.
The #2 necklace didn’t really catch my eye in the catalog, but I saw the gold version in the store and scooped it right up!  It will go great over tops and also with an open collar top or button down.

RM can do no harm in my book.  I’m seriously eyeing this bag!  It comes in more colors, which I’d like to see, but you can’t go wrong with a neutral.  I really wanted to see this, but it wasn’t at my store either!! 
Lucky Brand Rozina wedge sandal now $66.90, after sale $118.95
Loving the perforated wedge here.  I tried it on and it didn’t fit my foot very well, like the shoe wasn’t fitting close enough to my foot if that makes sense.  
BP Solar Wedge now $39.90, after sale $79.95
Really curious about this wedge, looks perfect for Fall with jeans and dresses or skirts.  The peep toe and tie detail are cute!  Such a great price, under $40!  I saw this and it looked better in person, but I didn’t try it on.

Can we pull off overalls without that much leg?  We’ll see . . . or not, they didn’t have them at my store.  I might order since it’s free shipping and returns.

This jacket is so chic! I have this fitted one from last year (runs small, size up), but this one is more rugged and probably warmer.
AG ankle legging jeans now $163.90, after sale $245
AG is a brand I know and love, such a good price on this ankle legging jeans.  Ankle length is my preferred length lately, especially with booties, so you show a little skin.
I saw these jeans and thought they looked great, but the holes are right at both knees and I like my holes in different places if I’m doing ripped jeans.

Love all of these!!  I always have to try on over the knee boots since I’m so short, but adore the look, especially with skinny jeans, leggings and boho dresses.  
I fell in love with two pair of tall boots, so I didn’t try on the over the knee boots.  #cantybuyeverything! I bought these and these.

If all of these UGGS magically appeared in my closet, I wouldn’t complain!  UGGs are seriously so comfortable.
#1 is the one I bought.   I also comes in black.  It fits like a dream, but does have that classic UGG shearling inside, so it’s going to be too hot for a warmish day, but perfect for winter/cold days.

I didn’t have time to look at all the departments (had to get back home and feed Jordan), so I missed the athletic wear.  I might have to order this.  I’m crazy for that color!
