Weekend Steals & Deals | The Jumpsuit
I’m celebrating making it to Friday and surviving such a busy week! Â I got to go with James on his school field trip on Tuesday and was actually surprised, but also very happy to hear he wanted to me go with him. Â He’s been so into Dad lately, but I guess he’s not too big for mama yet! Â He seems like such a big kid now, but then he’ll say something so innocent and sweet that I realize he’s still such a little guy too. Â I don’t know how those kindergartener teachers do it all year long, handling so many kids! Â I was so worn out after just one afternoon! BIG kudos to all teachers. Â That reminds me I need to get our end-of-the year gifts ready. Â I’ve done a round-up of cute, inexpensive teacher gifts before, but this time, I’m going with Just A Girl’s recommendation and going straight for the gift cards.
Our Bunco party at my house last night was super fun. Â It’s great to have such a good group of women and families in our neighborhood to share the trials and tribulations of parenting with, along with the laughs. Â And on Sunday, I’m helping host my sister-in-law’s baby shower here so I’ll be sure to share some of that goodness with you soon.
Before I get to the Weekend Steals & Deals, and there are some good ones!, I wanted to give y’all a big thank you for telling me to alter my jumpsuit. Â Remember the black one that was puddling on the floor? Â I took it back to Nordstrom and since I paid full price for it, the alterations were FREE! Â AND, I didn’t even know they could do this, but they shortened the zipper on the back because it was curling out at the bottom.
I made sure to bring the shoes I’d likely be wearing with this jumpsuit to the alterations so they could get the hem just right. Â And I love that it has pockets!
