Spring Dressing Boho Style

I’ve got two super cute boho inspired outfits to share with you today!  I usually do Wardrobe Wednesday, but since the One Room Challenge starts tomorrow, I’m bumping it up to Tuesdays for awhile.  This Spring/Summer bohemian style is casual and cool and so easy to wear.  The first outfit was originally meant for Easter, but I certainly plan to wear it beyond! and the other is a great date night look.  Let’s check them out!

I first saw this dress online when looking for a simple dress that wouldn’t be too body-conscious.  No one wants to look like they’re going to the club for church on Easter! The bright floral embroidery is seriously adorable and it even has it on the back!  And now that Easter has passed, you can wear this dress on any weekend and be the cutest girl on the block.

I was actually surprised at how cute this dress is on!  It’s loose enough to feel comfortable eating in, but short enough to give a little sass.

I’m glad they added the embroidery detail on the back too, gives it that something special when you’re walking away.  If you’ve got long hair, pull it up to show it off!

This leather floral collar necklace goes perfectly!  Love it when that happens.  There is a set of matching floral earrings, but I opted for the tassels.

Aren’t these pieces adorable for Spring?!

Of course I had to pair the dress with my favorite jean jacket.  I told you it goes with everything!  😉

You’ll see me wearing these lace up heels a lot lately because I love love love them, but this very similar pair is on sale.  The chunkier heel makes them super easy to walk in and I find them to be really comfortable and true to size.

Next up is a fun date night look if you want to mix separates instead of a dress.  I always think dresses are way easier to wear (instant outfit in one piece!) and all you need are accessories, but a skirt offers more versatility since you can pair it with different tops.  This tiered skirt below is certainly flirty with the lace detail and short style.

For this look, I liked this tie-neck tank tucked into the skirt to define your waist.  You can also wear it untucked with jeans, for a casual “I look cool, but not like I’m trying hard” look.

Adore pale blue nails for Spring!
Are you into dresses and skirts lately?  I’ve been watching the news and thinking about our friends in the northeast getting such bad storms lately.  I’m sending good vibes their way for Spring temps soon!

  1. I just bought the same ivory cross body last week, it's so cute but I haven't carried it yet. Not sure about the mini dress, it's not my style I guess, it reminds me of a mumu my grandma used to wear, lol. It actually made me think of body sledding as a kid we would wear hefty bags, that's what I would look like in that dress. If the neck line was a scoop or v neck or even a tank instead of the sleeves maybe then?? Love both shoes you had on and the white tank.

    1. My grandma wore mumus too- but she lived in Hawaii! I wasn't going for trash bag chic, but your visual cracked me up! Thanks for brightening my day Jennifer!
