You can tell summer is in full swing over here as my posts are getting later and later. Â My typical posting time has always been 6:00 a.m., and I’m sitting here finishing up this post at 3:45 p.m. Â Morning workouts and evenings where I take time off from the computer are partially to blame, but today, a swimming date with cousins won out. Â It’s so worth it and we’re taking advantage of the time to get together.I’m happy to report that James is doing so much better with his swimming (three weeks of lessons down, one to go), but he did wear his floaties for a bit when they were running and jumping in the pool, trying to make jump shots into the basketball hoop. Â “Mom, make a video!” he says and I comply. Â He could watch himself on repeat for hours!
It’s easy to talk about the excitement of summer and slower days, but over here, sometimes we still find ourselves busy, busy. Â Not always, but there are definite ebbs and flows, so when we have the chance to deliberately chill out, I’m savoring it! Â It’s cliche and yet so true that these kids grow up so fast! Â Many of the nurseries I’m featuring today are for kids that have since outgrown them and they are already being tuned into big boy and girl rooms! Â You can see James’ nursery here and his big boy room here and here.
My HWH Loves Bloggers posts are an ongoing series where I feature your spaces that you tag #HWHlovesbloggers on Instagram.  So far, we’ve gotten to peek inside our friends’ gorgeous BEDROOMS, LIVING ROOMS, KITCHENS, BATHROOMS, and KID ROOMS.  If you missed any of them, you’ll definitely want to check them out.  Thank you so much for tagging #HWHlovesbloggers.
Â
Today, I’m sharing your NURSERIES! Â I know so much thought and planning and love goes into these rooms for our babies and I delighted over each one of them.
Mallory outdid herself in her adorable daughter’s nursery. Â That wallpaper is just perfect for a baby girls’ room. Â Heck, I’d love it in my own grown-up room! Â The paint is by Valspar ‘Ancient Olive’.
How about coral and robin’s egg blue for a pretty mix of colors?! Â The wall was painted using a Cutting Edge stencil, the Rabal Allover Stencil. Â Now you know that took some time and patience!
Such a light and bright room and the wall detail provides a nice contrast. Â I’ve seen so many DIY tutorials for those and they look pretty straightforward if you ever want to attempt it for yourself.
What a sweet, romantic nursery! Â With a custom teepee and floral mobile, this room is so lovely! My son had a tall plush giraffe in his nursery too. Â I got ours at Z Gallerie and just sold it to a grandmother a few months ago.
Olivia’s nursery is the cutest in pink and grey and that wall of fabric embroidery hoops is a great focal point. Â That flokati rug looks uber soft too!
This entire nursery is worth seeing, but I’m smitten over the little details like the plush penguin and those teeny tiny baby shoes sitting on the dresser. Â She has more picture on her instagram for you to see!
I had the pleasure of meeting Amy last year at Haven and she is seriously so genuine and sweet. Â Her twins are happy and home now and doing great. Â And she looks like a million bucks! Â Not quite sure how she does it! Â The bright and modern double nursery is sure to see lots of action in the coming months! Â Best wishes to you and your family Amy! Â We’ll miss you at Haven this year!
Watching Natasha glow throughout her pregnancies and then seeing her cute boys on Instagram makes me feel like I know them! Â So many great textures going on in this nursery!
Deciding what to put on the wall can be such a challenge. Â It looks like they carefully chose just what would go above the crib since it’s minimalist. Â I love the overall look because it just seems so intimate.
This nursery is just beautiful!  The gallery wall is unique and the wall color is so soothing.  I’m also thinking that rocker looks pretty cozy.  Great name for the baby too!  😉
I love the ombre walls in this nursery! Â Angela is so creative with her walls! Â We had that ABC art in James’ room for a bit too- we found ours at Z Gallerie.
I don’t think many people think to do a nursery in bold, bright red, but it totally works in this room! Â The black and white surf art is a special piece the couple bought on the North Shore in Hawaii. Â Isn’t it great to have such meaningful art in your baby’s room? Â You’re sharing a part of your history with the baby that will be making history with you.
Talk about the creativity that went into this room! Â So many of these elements are handmade and I’m just in awe of the talent and imagination! Â The middle part of the tree is a chalkboard and the 3D pieces make it like an interactive wonderland!
Next, I’ll be looking to feature your HOME OFFICES!
Just tag your Instagram pic #HWHlovesbloggers and I’ll be featuring them in the next few weeks here and on my Instagram.

I wish I had known about this! I love nurseries, all of these are great! I'd love for you to check out Farrah's modern 70s-stye nursery 🙂 I was stoked when the crib bedding manufacturer ended up finding it and featuring it all over their facebook page. It's a labor of love, right? A few things have changed since, but here is the link: http://www.california-to-carolina.com/2014/10/farrahs-nursery-reveal.html
I love the first nursery-that wallpaper & monogram is gorgeous! There's something about having a monogram in your baby's room that makes it that much more special, when I have kiddos one day I know that will be a must 🙂
Thank you so much Megan! It was an honor to be included!
