The Cozy Factor – Best Slippers at Nordstrom

If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, you know I’m all about the cozy factor at home.  Now that it’s getting colder outside, it’s time to pull out the slippers for cozy weekend mornings when lounging is at it finest!  I relax best with my feet up and a freshly brewed cup of coffee and a stack of magazines.  I know people are particular about the kind of slippers they prefer, but these Muk Luks are mine- they feel like a soft hug on your feet.  That furry lining is the best and the stitching is a nice touch.  I’m usually a 6 1/2 shoe, but for slippers I always round up to 7 so they’re not too snug.
As for relaxing, my husband’s method is a little different than mine.  Does this scene look familiar to you?  This is usually my view for most of Sunday.  ðŸ˜‰
His slippers are Uggs, more sturdy for all that hard work spent watching football on the weekends.
I mean, football is stressful business.
James loves to relax and be cozy too.  I can’t stand the cuteness of him in his slippers.  He’s like a lot of us and doesn’t like to get out of his pajamas in the morning.  I don’t blame him.
His pair have a cushy green lining and non-slip bottom.
I put together a collection of favorite slippers from Nordstrom for her, for him, and for the kiddos.   They have a big selection and their prices are very reasonable.  And you know they have free shipping and free returns.  On the for her, I especially love the “spa girl” slipper.  Those are great for after a bath/shower or if your feet get too warm in regular slippers, but you still want something cozy on your feet.

What kind of slipper girl are you? How about your mate?

I’m proud to partner with Nordstrom on this post.

  1. Love the progression pics of your hubby. Mine is the same way, except there would be some verbal phrases coming out of him (some good, some not so good haha). These would actually be a great gift to give this year. I think Miss M would like a pair of the bunnies.

  2. The pictures of your husband watching football are so cute. I'm thinking about getting a pair of slippers to wear in my office to stay warm, and then slip out of when I have meetings or run to the office kitchen. Thanks for the recommendation!
