Tuesday kicks off our Christmas Cheer link party featuring your Christmas trees! This year, we put our 5 year-old faux tree up in the stairway, and bought a real miniature…
Did you get to enjoy a long Memorial Day weekend? We took a quick road trip to Austin and visited some friends and their adorable little 14-month old daughter. And…
How about a peek into my freshly organized office closet? It was quite the cluttered mess a few weeks ago, but I dug in and got her all cleaned up!…
Happy first day of 2015! Something about this year being 15 as opposed to 14 feels big to me. We’re closer to 2020 and I’ll turn 40 next month and…

Hi! I’m Megan, mom to a thoughtful teenager and spunky young girl. We call Houston home and recently moved into our dream home. I traded my lawyer hat to become a full-time blogger in 2010. I love sharing my passion for affordable fashion, home decor, organization, & fitness to help inspire you to take care of you!

Thanks for the chart. I wonder how many people really try and follow the toss out guidelines? I try to because it gives me an excuse to go shopping! 🙂
Hi Megan! I wasn't sure if you were going to get a notification from the IHeartOrganizing blog comments, but I wanted to share with you here also that your makeup post inspired me to spiff up my own makeup storage drawers with Washi tape. Here's the result – http://www.the-organizing-boutique.com/makeup-storage-drawers.html. Thank you for the inspiration and have a great week!
