I’m a big fan of AllWhites® egg whites (100% egg whites that come in a carton) and use them in my protein pancakes and meals all the time. If you came to my house and peeked into my fridge, you’d always see at least one container of AllWhites. If you follow my blog, you know I’m working on getting lean and gaining muscle, which requires eating about 5 small meals a day, each with about 20 grams of protein.
AllWhites helps me get that protein in!
Each serving of AllWhites has 5 grams of lean protein and 25 calories without fat or cholesterol or shells! If you are on Weight Watchers, they give AllWhites 0 PointsPlus value per serving (PointsPlus value takes into account the food’s protein, carbohydrates, fat and fiber). You can use AllWhites in any recipe that calls for eggs. The convenience of simply pouring the AllWhites into your recipe as opposed to having to crack and separate your eggs yolks from the whites is genius!
Today, I’m sharing a healthy recipe using AllWhites and GIVING AWAY a $100 Visa gift card to one lucky reader (courtesy of AllWhites)!
Egg Scramble
I call this dish “egg scramble” because I like to simply dump all the ingredients into a hot skillet and “scramble” them around until they are all cooked. I usually eat this on a weekend for breakfast, or at night for my last meal.
Ingredients
- Cooking spray
- AllWhites® egg whites – about 3/4 cup
- Onion- 1/4 cup chopped or less
- Turkey ham – 1 slice, chopped
- Cherry tomatoes- 5 or as many as you like
- Spinach- large handful
- Low fat cheese- 1 slice
- Mushrooms – 1/2 cup (optional)
Directions
Spray cooking spray in a skillet over medium-high heat, add a small chopped slice of turkey ham, bit of diced onion, a few cherry tomatoes, and a bunch of spinach. After the spinach cooks down a little, and the rest of the ingredients are browned, I add about 3/4 cup of AllWhites (depending on how hungry I am). I just keep stirring until it’s all cooked, then, turn off the heat and add some low fat cheese. Mushrooms would be good in this too.
For recipe purposes:
3 tbsp. of AllWhites = Approx. 1 large egg
1/3 cup of AllWhites = Approx. 2 large eggs
3/4 cup of AllWhites = Approx. 4 large eggs
AllWhites are sold in regular grocery stores, right next to the eggs. The cartons look like the photo below if you aren’t familiar. They last a while in the fridge.
AllWhites is giving away a $100 Visa gift card to one Honey We’re Healthy reader. To enter, leave a comment with your answer to the question: How do you fuel the way to a healthier you?

How do you fuel the way to a healthier you?
I work at it slowly, I have lost over 90lbs in 3 years, and alot of can be how I have portioned out my servings of food and what I have incorporated fresh healthy food into mydiet. (Egg Whites) is protein to me, so to not have protein to fuel my muscles from weight lifting, it would slow down my progress of loosing the Body Fat that I need to loose. So thank you for creating a product to make sure my day can go alot quicker in the morning by separating the Yolks!
Thank you very much!!! ~ Kara from Nebraska

I grabbed an egg white breakfast sandwich at a fast food restaurant one morning and really liked it so I started duplicating them at home, except I sub a slice of tomato for the canadian bacon or use a round Morning Star vegetarian sausage. It really helps if you buy an egg ring, available almost everywhere so you get that perfect round shape of your egg white that fits perfectly onto the English muffin. I prefer whole wheat English muffins. Be sure and season the egg white with some salt/pepper or Mrs Dash's salt free for flavor.
I drink lots of water daily and eat veggies and fruit.

I try to add fruits and veggies in my diet every day 🙂
I watch my sodium intake and eat fresh vegetables/fruits aunteegem@yahoo.com
Not Skipping meals is very important, I start my day with a good breakfast, usually eggs, toast, fruit and juice, at lunch veggies are a must, mid-day snack consists of fresh fruit and for dinner I try to make hearty meals all my family would enjoy.

I try to eat healthy at least 80% of the time. I eat primarily natural (and organic) foods and to get a workout at the gym at least 3 days a week..some weeks 4 or 5. I make sure I get one protein, one carb and one healthy fat at each meal/snack plus all the low-glycemic veggies I can eat.
I am cutting the meat that I cook with in about half to 1/4 as much as I ususally use and adding more veggies and switching out egg whites in places that I can, such as omelts and etc.
I make sure to get enough protein in my diet 🙂
I try to limit my processed food intake and drink a lot of water.

I'm a vegetarian, so getting enough protein is my top priority. If I focus on that then it usually means I eat less sugar.
If my sweet tooth strikes I try to think of something else I could eat instead that is high in protein — usually Greek yogurt or almonds.
I love white meat chicken and try to eat it at least three times a week as well as a lots of fruits and veggies. I also make sure to take a daily multivitamin.
I eat pretty good and walk the treadmill every day. In the summer I bike ride on our local trail.

An egg white omelet loaded with fresh veggies fuels me for the day. Now if I would just take the time to do that more often than just grabbing a yogurt.

I'm actively avoiding HFCS (as everyone knows, it's in *everything*), and replacing most of the starchy side dishes I used to enjoy with dark, leafy greens.
I like to start my day on the right track. I love to make fruit smoothies for breakfast with some baby spinach or watercress added in on occasion. In between breakfast and lunch, I like to walk for half an hour to pump up some energy without getting exhausted in the process.

I fuel the way to a healthier me by avoiding fast foods, drinking plenty of water, swimming 3 times a week and walking the other days. I haven't tried the AllWhites, but I will now.
