Easter Cookies & Decor

Yay for Easter week, a favorite time of year.  Spring is in the air and summer isn’t far away.  The days are lighter longer and we prepare to celebrate The Resurrection.  Our church always has a great service and I’m looking forward to it and a nice brunch after.  We know Easter isn’t really about bunnies and eggs, but it doesn’t hurt to be playful with those things!

I found the cutest sugar cookies for my son’s class Easter party at Whole Foods.  I hope the kids like them- but I think they will since he already tasted and approved.

And for just $5 I picked up this adorable, colorful felt egg banner at Target.  Sometimes $5 is worth saving the time and effort of creating a craft project from scratch.
The lovely lamp and faux potted hydrangea are from Pottery Barn.
On our breakfast table is my dough bowl filled with large and small pastel colored eggs- from Hobby Lobby.
Do you have Easter plans?

  1. What a cute banner from Target! 🙂 For Easter, my family is going to visit my sis & BIL – and my new niece – born last week! So excited to meet her. 🙂

    Happy Easter Megan!

  2. Those cookies are so cute, I may have to pic some up at Whole Foods.

It was nice running into you at Barnes & Noble the other day. You are so sweet in person!

  3. We are having my family over to our house this weekend, and I am trying to throw together some simple decorations quickly. I got that same banner from Target and draped it from my mantel! It's so cute! I like your other ideas…this is going to help. 🙂

  4. That company makes the most delicious cookies! Katie loves them (and since she is flying home tonight, that means we will have to pick some up tomorrow). Love the sweet banner, and what a deal. We will spend the morning at church (our youth pastor will take over as our new senior pastor-we can't wait). Then it will be brunch/lunch at home. We are so not fighting the crowds this year.

  5. those cookies are too cute — sloan just reminded me she needs bday treats for school on thursday since they are off school Friday…I think those cookies are a great idea!

  6. Those cookies need to get in mah belly. Love the Easter decor! And agreed, sometimes it's worth it to buy something rather than DIY–time is valuable!

    Happy Easter, M!!
    xoxo
