Can you believe Easter is almost here? It feels like it snuck up on me really quickly this year, but I’m ready with a simple Easter table for four. I mostly shopped our home with items purchased from past years to create a setting that is relaxed and casual.
The inspiration for the table started with these adorable miniature birds nested with speckled eggs. They are just a couple dollars at Hobby Lobby and I like how they add that Spring nature feel.
The floral runner was purchased at World Market a few years back and used in a previous Thanksgiving table. I’m still loving my gold flatware from Amazon – they add some bling!
Bunnies certainly say Easter, don’t they? Again, a Hobby Lobby find.
This “egg” centerpiece adds a festive, pastel touch. The large eggs are perfect!
Oh how I wish I had a yard full of blooming hydrangeas. I don’t even care what color, they are just so lush and gorgeous. These are from the grocery store- too bad I can never get them to last very long! Putting them in a mason jar feels more casual than using a formal vase.
Happy new year friends! Did you do anything fun to celebrate last night?! Like most of this winter break, we’ve been staying in and taking it easy, so it was…
Year after year, as we decorate our homes for the changing seasons, we learn more about our style and perhaps ourselves. Â What do we want our homes to say, what…
I mentioned recently how our evening routines have changed lately. I used to be so bad about burying my head in the computer as soon as my son went to…
Hi friends! It’s been such a busy week and it’s only Wednesday! How about for you?? I’m already counting the days ’til the weekend, but our weekend comes early because…
How’s your week going friends?  I’m just over here counting down the days ’til the 2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale like a kid at Christmas!  It’s so close, opening this Thursday for cardholders.  ??I got a friendly letter in the mail letting me know they upped my limit just in time for the sale- #thankyouverymuch!  We’ll keep this little detail to ourselves and not bother the hubby with that tidbit of info!  😉  Are you excited?!?! Of course, I’ll be sharing my picks on Thursday and then a big ‘ole dressing room round up on Friday with fit tips and recommendations. Let me know what you have questions about and I’ll do my best investigative journalism for ya!
This swingy striped! cold shoulder dress is perfect for daytime or evenings out. Â Love the simplicity of it and the drapey fabric. Â Such a steal at right under $50! Â For a daytime look, you could wear it with the #10 sandals (they have lots of colors) & for evening, these black open toe heeled sandals would be great.
Show off your summer mani with this gorgeous, chic statement ring! I like to wear it on my first or middle finger on my right hand with a bold bracelet.
I’m sure you’ve heard me rave about this maxi dress before. Â Every time I wear it, I get tons of compliments and it’s really flattering and comfortable. Â It’s on sale under $40! Â I wear XS.
High waist leggings will be your BFF, I swear! Â They keep you all nice and tucked in and make you feel great while working out. Â Zella quality is always superb, and this pair comes in three colors with criss-cross detail at the calf. Â They run TTS, I wear size XS.
Although I normally wear a tank to workout, this Zella tee is my go-to when I want a t-shirt. Â The seams in the shirt are perfectly placed to help the illusion of a smaller waist and I like the cut of the sleeves that don’t irritate me when I’m working out.
My go-to tank, $11!!! Â I think I need to stock up on the other colors. Â It’s perfect for wearing alone or layering under cardigans or other tops. Â It fits TTS, XS here.
I have the older version of these sandals and they are really good! They come in tons of colors and the “beige leather” has a snakeskin pattern that goes with everything. Â Sam Edelman makes quality shoes that last, so I highly recommend them!
Noooowwww it’s Friday! I guess I got a little ahead of myself yesterday! Oops! Do you have any fun plans this weekend? We just have one soccer game and that’s…

Megan, it snuck up on my as well. love the table decorations, especially the bunny. may need to go shopping after easter for next year!
Your table is so pretty! I love hydrangeas too, I have a few plants in my yard, I am the same I don't care what color blooms, I just like looking at them. I like that you were able to shop your house to get most of the components of the table, its a great way to save money.
I really enjoy reading both of your blogs and your Easter table looks both beautiful and inviting! With regard to making cut hydrangeas last, I stumbled upon the "Alum Dip Method" (see link below) a while back and it really works. My Trader Joe's hydrangeas sometimes last for two weeks!
So pretty Megan and a lovely touch of spring! Hydrangeas are one of my favorites. We have them in our yard and lI love to bring a few cut flowers in the house. I wish there was a trick to keeping them longer in a vase! Your bunny is darling. I bet James loves him!
Looks wonderful. I'll be there for brunch! Hydrangeas are my favorite flower as well. They're just so classic and beautiful, but I'm also partial because they were my wedding bouquet.
Soooo pretty! I especially love the little nests and the rabbit figurine. I'm doing a post tomorrow on our Easter table too! Hope you'll check it out! 🙂 Susan simplymodernhome.com

I always add a few drops of regular bleach to the water. It works like a charm for them to last longer and it keeps the water clear. 🙂
Great table.
I'd love to have you link this post to Seasonal Sundays. The link goes up at 7:00 pm Saturday night.
