Spa Water

Just for fun this weekend, I made some “spa” water, aka, water with fruit cut up in it and served up in a fancy container:)  Much to my husband’s chagrin, there was no masseuse to accompany the water.  I found this glass jug at Target for $19.99 and picked it right up because it will be perfect for our summer sangria!

I sliced up one orange and one lemon and added it to ice and water from the fridge.

Are you a fan of flavored water?  I typically like it straight up- like my iced tea, but this was fun for a change.  And, by the way, thank you so much for weighing in on the Vitamix blender.  I received a lot of feedback that I really appreciate.

We have a huge water jug and I think I should add some lemon to it for our next party to make it a bit "fancier!" Thanks for the tip.

I have been wanting one of these for quite some time. Does it work well? Do you have any problems witht the spigot leaking? If not, I might need to make a trip to Target tonight! 🙂

I did it the other weekend as well, I added strawberries, mint and kiwi …. I was the only one who drank it. The mr and the kids said: 'No thanks!' … their loss!

That looks so pretty! And a great price…I need to head to Target asap! Also, will you please let us know how the smoothies go for James? My triplets are SUPER picky. They will hardly eat any fruits or veggies (sigh). I had made them smoothies in the past and they wouldn't touch them (but will eat the Danimal pre-made smoothies). I'd love to hear if James likes the smoothies and what recipes you use!!!!! Thank you!

What a great idea!! I've been dying to get a water diffuser…where you can soak water, or tea, in fruit and get some great flavors!

Typically I just drink my water plain but I don't mind a little lemon in it. It's amazing how you can make something as simple as water, lemons, and oranges look so pretty. These pictures covey the perfect solution to a hot Summer day.

I put lemon in my water & tea. I can drink it without but I like it better with the lemon.

I stayed in a hotel last year that had cantaloupe water and pineapple water in canisters just like these. They were both surprisingly delicious so I tried the cantaloupe at home. It was fantastic!

Your spa water is so pretty! I am a huge water drinker and it's nice to fancy it up a bit. I need to pick one of those up at Target. Sometimes I add mint and also cucumber is refreshing. Your photos are beautiful Megan.

I prefer limes in my water over lemons, but sometimes I looooove having slices of cucumber. It makes the water fresher.
