The Baby Cave??
When we build our home two years ago, the only thing my husband really wanted was his own, oversized garage. And a media room. He’s so happy to have his man cave.

Happy Hump day friends! I’ve been in such a funk the past couple days because I haven’t slept well, and man, can that really mess you up! Getting good rest…
Over the weekend, I spent some time (only took about an hour) organizing my bathroom drawers. They were what I call “semi-organized” before, with similar things grouped together, but I…
This may sound bad, but one of the things I like about going back to work (part-time) is the “free” time it gives me! My job is great in that…
Thank you so so much for you sweet feedback on baby girl’s nursery! It’s been a labor of love for sure and we’re thrilled with how it turned out! I…
Don’t we all love HomeGoods?! I’m sure most of my home accessories were purchased there and I’m known to pop into my local HomeGoods store just to “see what’s new”…
When we decided that we were going to build a home, I started scouring blogs and design magazines for inspiration. I recently came across two magazine articles that I had…
Hi! I’m Megan, mom to a thoughtful teenager and spunky young girl. We call Houston home and recently moved into our dream home. I traded my lawyer hat to become a full-time blogger in 2010. I love sharing my passion for affordable fashion, home decor, organization, & fitness to help inspire you to take care of you!
So happy to hear things are going better! Laughed as I read this, because I'm sure my husband feels the same way…except his "man cave" (our living room) is occupied by a pink play kitchen behind the leather chair and a Barbie house. To be fair, the Barbie house is there from Christmas, and will be moving…but still.
It's nice to have guys who are good sports, right? 🙂

So cute! But I'm sure he wouldn't have it any other way. (-:

Oh so glad to hear the good news on your family member! We'll keep thinking of you and your family!
Haha, that's hilarious! Thanks for such a cute share – particularly on a Monday! Happy that your family member is doing much better!
Ha! Love it. It's so great to see our men become dads and have different priorities. 🙂
Too funny! I feel like everyone needs their own 'cave' to be creative, relax, explore hobbies, put their own stamp on. My husband's man cave has a 70" tv to maximize football watching. My woman cave http://www.bmoreloveleigh.blogspot.(com/2012/01/woman-cave-or-how-i-got-room-i-wanted.html) has tons of books, fun art, and a girly desk to work on the things I love.

So glad your loved one is doing better! Too funny about the garage…guess cars, trucks and tractors are better than Barbies and Baby Dolls! LOL
I'm so glad they are doing better! That can be so stressful.
That crack me sup that his riding toys are kept in that beautiful garage. Oh, how things change with baby. 🙂
Glad to hear your family member is doing better! God is good!!
Love the little "cars" in the garage. My husband keeps asking me when he will get to park in the garage again-b/c his side is full of my DIY projects and thrift store finds.
Glad to hear your family member is doing better! And I love the baby cave 🙂
So sweet! Glad to hear things are looking up…thinking of you and your family. 🙂
So cute! I bought my nephie a Cozy Coupe for his first birthday, he is crazy about it! I bet James would love one! They do take up a lot of space though, as my sister reminds me regularly 🙂
