baby james {11 months}

How did this happen?  My little baby is growing up so fast!  The one year mark is fast approaching.  It is SO fun to interact with James now and play together.  He loves to play (alone or with us).  He likes “high 5”, reading (or turning the book’s pages), all the toys that light up and play music, things he can bang on, opening cabinet doors and drawers, and playing chase in his little car.  Grandma, you’ll like this post- it’s heavy on the baby pics:)

He’s all big boy in the highchair when we go to restaurants now.
image
Not walking yet, just “cruising” the furniture and starting to stand unassisted.

image
Hold on Mom, I have an important call to make.
image
Let me play you some tunes.
image
He’s really good at putting the rings on and off now.
image
image
Smooches from Daddy!
image
Drinking bottles by himself.
image
image
image
Looooves clapping hands.
image
 image
Oh, yes, whenever we open the fridge, he’s immediately there.
image
But he’s always after the remote control.  Such determination!

I try to get him to play with His computer and toys.

But he’s always back to the remote.

um, I think I’ll change the channel

Bye!  See ya when I’m a year old!

What a cutie! Times just goes too fast. I have been saying I would like to freeze mine right where they are… at least for a while. =)

I can't believe how much he has grown!! Look much more like a toddler than a baby now. I know we spent too much on toys for ours, and they were more than happy to play with the remotes, keys and cardboard boxes!! LOL

  7. February 10, 2011 / 2:40 am

Oh gosh….the remotes. Arghhh! And we have about 5 of them just out and about. I wonder how many times a day I pick them up? He's sooo adorable! I can't wait to give him some french fries and nuggets. And maybe a sip of coke. Are you hyperventilating yet?

He is so cute! Too bad we don' live closer we could set him up with my daughter Lucy. She has her first birthday on Friday and she loves the remote too! We were at a play date Monday and she picked up their remote and began aiming at the tv- I think I turned bright red from embarrassment ; )

Is James adorable or what! He is at such a fun age! I miss my boys at this age and I know you've heard this before…..they grow so fast! I can tell you are enjoying every minute of it! In the blink of an eye he'll be in highschool asking you which AP classes he needs to take to get into the best college in your state! {a day in my life!} God bless you, your hubby, James and future children! Oh and start praying for his future wife now! Kisses, Desiree

He is such a cutie! It is truly amazing how fast time flies once you have a little one! I think it is in boy's DNA to be all about the remote! Kason is darn right sneaky about finding it, hiding it, and changing the channels. 🙂

James is adorable. My boys are 17 and 14, and I miss all that cuddly toddler stuff. Just discovered your blog. Looking forward to exploring it. I'm interested in your living room paint color/sofa color relationship. I have a similar color sofa and don't know what color to paint my walls.
