Preparing for Houseguests {& Silhouette Giveaway Preview}
It’s so great to have my husband’s parents in town for the holidays. They are super nice and since they live out of town, we’re lucky that they’re here for a week this time. In preparation for their visit, I got some new white sheets for the bed (to go with the Z Gallerie duvet and Wal-Mart pillow covers), added some fresh flowers to the nightstand, and included a little jar of treats (Hershey Kisses Meltaways- Jimmy’s mom’s favorite!)
The guest bath got a little boost of freshness too with some flowers, new buttery yellow towels, bathmat and shower curtain from the Restoration Hardware outlet. I was thinking that the yellow would be nice a nice welcome to the new year and tie in nicely with my adjoining office.
I hope they enjoy their stay! **********
I’m excited to tell you about the Silhouette Giveaway that I will announce on December 26, 2010. The winner will be announced on January 1, 2011. What a way to kick off the New Year! Also, from December 26 to January 1, HWH readers will be able to purchase the Silhouette SD machine for $175 with a monthly subscription commitment to the Silhouette Online Store when they use promo code HWH at checkout. Then, you can make things like this:
If you have done a Silhouette project that you would like me to feature before the New Year, please email me a picture and a link to your blog (if you have one) and I will consider your submission.
