Hi friends! I'm Megan, a lawyer turned stay-at-home mom to the loves of my life - a sweet seven year-old boy named James and an energetic and curious baby girl, Jordan. My handsome hubby and I call Houston home, and our new home build is what kicked off this blog 7 years ago. Wow, has it been that long?!
At Honey We're Home, I share my passion for style, home decor, organization and fitness, with a good bit of family life and baby tips in there. You can read more about all of these topics by clicking the tabs at the top of my blog.
If you're new here, some of my more popular posts include:
Even as moms, I believe we need to take care of ourselves too. Spending 10 minutes in the morning meditating has helped me be more peaceful and present when life is crazy busy. Taking time to dab on a bit of mascara and brush my hair makes me feel better throughout the day. Putting on a cute outfit makes the fashion lover in me smile and whoever said that a SAHM can't by stylish?! I share my everyday outfits with you here and on Instagram in an effort to get out of my pajamas and into something cute most days!
Making time to workout isn't easy, but being healthy and fit makes me feel better, inside and out. Running and lifting weights keeps me strong mentally and physically. I'm often asked how tall I am and the answer is I'm super petite- just 5'1 and about a buck 'o five.
Sure there are days when it doesn't all come together, and my house is a mess, my kids are cranky, I've eaten all the cookies, haven't planned anything for dinner and I've got baby food all over me, but I try to just embrace those moments too.
Here, you'll find a cheerleader with a positive spirit to uplift and encourage you. Let's live this one life we were blessed with vibrantly and alive and always with a grateful heart. 💛
