Darling Floral Spring Dresses

Are you guys as happy for the weekend as I am?!  This weekend kicks of my brother’s wedding and our Spring Break so it’s a double celebration!  I’ll be sharing snippets on InstaStories if you want to check in.  If you need help figuring out how to see Stories, read this.  I’m @honeywerehome on Instagram, and I’d love to see you there too.

I’m so happy to see the Spring styles coming out in full force after the dark days of winter!  I found several darling dresses that transition well into Spring because you can add a jacket and be good to go if the weather dips.  This beautiful long sleeve floral dress was originally meant for Jordan’s 1st birthday party, but it turned out to be really hot that day and I realized I should probably wear pants (this pair) so I could get on the floor with the kids.

I wasn’t sure how well this dress would fit since I’ve never bought anything by Cupcakes & Cashmere before.  I’m wearing size XS and it fits my 5’1 frame perfectly.  It’s on the short size, several inches above my knee, but slightly longer in the back.  The shift shape is darling and forgiving, so it will be great for lunches or dinner out.

It’s silky soft and also partially lined, which I appreciate.   It has a keyhole neck cutout that is pretty alone or with a necklace.  My necklace is old from Stella & Dot, but this beaded layered necklace is very similar.

I’m crazy about the fun all-over floral pattern on this dress as well as the pink and blue color combo. I chose to wear a neutral lace up heeled sandals and carry a pink bag but you could also switch it up.

I just bought this blush pink bag that is absolutely gorgeous in person!  It’s the smaller leather version of the larger suede slate blue one I always carry.  I think I’m going to like the smaller scale of this bag a bit more because it will keep things more compact.
I love the whipstitch carry handle and often use the detachable crossbody strap if I want to be hands free.  The little tassels are a fun detail too.  On the other side is a convenient zip pocket and the top zips close. I also love it when bags (like this one) have small metal ‘feet’ to help keep the bottom clean if you set it down.
Inside, it’s not too deep to where you can’t find things, and it has a zip pocket on one side and double wall pockets on the other.

I couldn’t help but do a little twirl in this dress, a sure sign that you’re in love! ?

My strappy lace-up heels are old from last year, but the newer version (with adorable perforated straps) is on sale 20% off.  That new pair lace up the front and then have a small front tie, which is actually nice, because sometimes the wrap-around tie can be tricky to tie right.

If you want another layer, this dress looks so good with your fitted jean jacket.  You guys know how much I love mine and I usually keep it in my car and reach for it often!  It’s the perfect color to coordinate with so much and extra soft with a little stretch.

I usually cuff the sleeves to keep the vibe casual.  I roll them up wide and then fold again, kinda twisting a little to keep it from looking too neat.

You know a blogger is really feelin’ her outfit when she shares too many pics! ? ?  Thanks for indulging me! ?
