Romper Dress

Well, our weather didn’t cooperate yesterday, so we had to put off our trip to see baby Joy for another day.  Luckily, there was a groupon for Sky High Sports, so we did that instead.  It totally wears out the kids, and it’s great to see them jumping around and playing instead of being lazy bums at home!  And thank you so much for all the tips about allowance.  You guys have some great ideas and have given me lots to think about.  Maybe we’ll get school off to its start, and then start giving allowance in September or October, in time to save some money for the holidays.  It would be great for him to be able to buy gifts with his own money!

I’m so excited to share this gorgeous dress with you today, but even better, it’s a little romper dress that has shorts underneath so the ruffled slit on the side isn’t too revealing!

I love everything about this dress from the pretty pale blue with floral fabric to the flirty ruffles!  Also, it’s only $55, so very affordable!  It also comes in a lovely solid dusty lilac color, which is very classy and chic!

We’re heading to New Orleans for a couples trip soon and this dress will definitely be coming with me! So far, we’ve planned the trip around all the good food we plan to eat, but Nola is such a fun town, so I’ll be sure to share what we do while we’re there!

How darling and feminine from the back . . .

  1. So excited you’re coming to New Orleans! You have to have beignets at Cafe Du Monde one morning for breakfast and ride a street car down St. Charles! We also have incredible poboys, jambalaya, oysters, gumbo and snowballs 🙂 Can’t wait to hear what you check out!

  2. I love rompers (if they’re cut properly) and I think this new style, romper-dress, is adorable too. But I never buy either because of practicality’s sake…bathroom. So I’m wondering, because this dress appears to be rather fitted, how much of a pain is it to be able to go to the bathroom in one of these dresses?

    1. I agree, you gotta find the proper fit in a romper for it to look good. I’ve tried on some BAD ones! If I find an awesome romper, I’ll suck it up for the inconvenience of dressing down for bathroom visits.
