Military Inspired | Camo Shirt Jacket

Happy hump day!  Yesterday was the first day I overslept and I was kicking myself!  I set my alarm for 4:45 a.m. and almost got up right then, but instead talked myself into hitting snooze to give myself 10 more minutes in bed.  I must have accidentally turned my alarm clock off because the next thing I knew it was 6:00 am!  Ug!  I still got up and did my ab workout and meditated, but I’ll be back at it again early tomorrow!  It did make me already miss that accomplished feeling of having so much done by 6am, so I guess that’s good!
Today, I’m sharing another military inspired fave.  Yesterday, you saw my super comfy skinny cargo pants and today it’s this awesome Camo Shirt Jacket that’s as easy to wear as my favorite solid military jacket.  They are perfect for those temperamental weather days or as a safe bet to keep inside your car or office so it’s handy when you need it.

White Jeans 25 | Grey Tank Sweater XSP (40% off) | Camo Shirt Jacket US2 Similar Crossbody Bag | Booties 15% off Blue Aviators | Multistrand Collar Necklace (similar herehere & here)  | Similar Earrings | Bracelet (for less) | Coil Ring

This jacket is a perfect mid-weight layering piece and I’m crazy for the not-too vibrant camo print. It’s cut generously, so you might want to size down, I’m in US2 (which is supposed to fit like a 0). I like that it’s longer, but not too long, espeically since I’m only 5’1.

It’s got great side pockets and also pockets on top.

There is some slight distressing, but just enough to make it look casually lived in.

I think the sleeves look better casually rolled, but you can wear them long too.

Mom Bracelet

Of course, this camo jacket will look great with jeans and a tee, but I wanted to show it to you with your white jeans.

I’m sure you’ve heard me raving about this pair of white jeans that I’ve had for years and swear by. They are the best white jeans I’ve tried because they are 99% cotton, 1% spandex and fit like a real jean as opposed to a jegging.  That means they are opaque and any lumps and bumps are perfectly smooth! YAAASSS!!! They fit TTS, I wear 25.  They were an investment piece, but one well worth it, I’ve worn them a million times over the last few years and they have held up great and still look new.
I’m also kinda crazy for these Spring peep toe booties.  They have a lace tie, but it’s more decorative, because you put these on and off with the small zipper on the back of the heel. They are high though- so if you don’t like tall shoes, try these lower heeled peep toe booties (25% off) as an alternative.
Grey and white is such a pretty combo, and if you need a good white nail color, I always opt for OPI Alpine Snow.

And . . . the giveaway I announced yesterday will be chosen on Friday, so there’s still time to enter!

Have a great day, friends! ?

  1. Camo actually looks so good with white jeans/cargos! Love the look 😀 Guess I’m stealing my husbands hunting jackets from now on, especially since he just picked up a whole bunch of new ones along with a new 6.5 creedmoor rifle 😀

  2. You are right, quality materials and military-style design provide not only protection and comfort, but also aesthetic satisfaction. The equipment and military equipment of the US Army (which you can learn more about by reading article https://www.agmglobalvision.com/the_best_military_hardware_of_the_us_army) is the embodiment of advanced technology and innovation. These clothes not only symbolize military values, but also inspire energetic and dynamic looks in everyday life.
