Ripped Jeans | Dressed Up

Thank you for the birthday wishes! Another year older, a little wiser and a lot more tired! Ha!  That’s why they say have your kids young!  My kiddos keep me on my toes that’s for sure and man, they have so much energy!  If we could bottle that, we’d be golden!
I have something super cheerful for you today, a bright and sunny outfit to help usher in Spring and welcome a pop of pink into your life!  ? Particularly appropriate on this Wednesday! In addition to the In the Dressing Room, Outfits Lately, and Wear to Work style series, I’m starting a Dressed Up/Dressed Down series where I show you how to make one piece in your wardrobe work for both night and day or casual outings vs. get togethers where you want to be more dressed up.
Most of my wardrobe needs to do double duty since I’m often running around with baby, but have other things on the agenda like lunch/dinner dates, PTO, meetings, and networking.  When I’m out with Jordan, you’ll most likely find me in flats or sneakers, but I love a chance to get dressed up and wear heels too.
The item I’m featuring today is a new acid washed pair of distressed jeans that can easily go the dressed up or dressed down route.  I’m usually a size 25 in this brand, so I’m not sure if I’ve lost weight or if this pair runs small, but I sized down to 24 in these and got the length hemmed.

The light wash on these jeans is great for Spring and the rips and distressing is just right if you like that look.

Happy news that this playful geometric crossbody bag is on sale 33% off

How fun is this off-the-shoulder white blouse?!  I adore the 3/4 sleeve lenght and the tie at the sleeves.  I’m wearing XSP, and it’s very comfortable without any slipping on the shoulder part- it’s got elastic to help keep it in place.
Don’t limit your strapless top options because you don’t have a comfortable, supportive strapless bra. This one is my favorite that stays in place and provides lift and fits TTS.  I never have to worry about feeling self conscious in that bra.
What really helps elevate this look to Dressed Up status is the heels and tassel earrings.  Y’all know I’m crazy for this pair of heels as a perfect pointy toe pump that is well made and comfortable as far as heels go.  They come is a ton of fun colors, and are on sale up to 25% off.
The pink tassel earrings go perfectly for a bright pop of color near your face.  I’m usually just wearing stud earrings, so these are definitely fun for a change.  I like to add a bright lip that compliments the earrings too.
I wrote a detailed review of these dupe Rayban aviators in this post.  This is the pink/gold pair and they change colors based on how the light hits them.  I thought they were a tad big on me and first, but they’ve really grown on me and I love the less expensive price tag!

I’ll be back tomorrow with super casual version of these jeans “Dressed Down”.  It’s more like what you’d see me in if you bumped into me and Jordan running errands around town!
