Leopard Heels for Date Night and Work

Hi friends!  Yesterday, I kept thinking it was already Thursday, which had me all out of whack, but I’m back on track and yes, today is Thursday and tomorrow starts the weekend!  Can’t come too quick- this week has already been nutty!  I mentioned before that we all (except Jordan) got a stomach bug, and then my poor Mom got it!  Ug, what a nightmare this thing has been!!  Well, it can only get better, right?!
Today, I’m showing you two more outfits you can wear with your gorgeous leopard heels.  It has been surprisingly difficult for me to find a pair in a reasonable price range, and trust me, I’ve been on the hunt forever!  The pair I finally found have a pointed toe and 3-inch heel, are great quality, but run slightly big.  I was able to get away with my normal size 6, but thought I might need a foot pad if they loosen up with wear. You saw yesterday how easy it is to spice up a casual, neutral outfit just by slipping those leopard shoes on and today your date night look gets an update, as well as your office attire.  I didn’t realize until late last night that yesterday’s sweater link was wrong, so my apologies if you tried to order and thought it was sold out.  Here’s the correct link and the sweater is in stock in all sizes in the tan and also comes in 6 other colors.

This first look is a look you could wear on date night (without the cardi) or a more casual dinner (cardi on if it’s chilly).

Jeans and a cami are a casual date night staple in my book.  You can’t go wrong with that combo and your date will always appreciate being with a hot mama! #yougorgeousthing! You dress up the look with heels and jewelry, but I couldn’t resist adding this cardi because it’s cozy goodness and will keep you warm on your way to and from the car.
It’s still a classic neutral look, but the leopard shoe elevates the style factor.  My exact cardi sold out, but this one is nearly identical with pockets as well.
I wear this long faux horn and pearl necklace all the time.  It’s embarrassing how often I reach for it or my long Kendra Scott pendant necklaces.  In my defense, they go with almost everything and I love the length!
But, the true date night surprise is showing off this sweet camisole!  It’s long enough to tuck in and I would tuck if I was wearing bootcut jeans to balance them out- but with skinnier jeans, I like the loose, flowiness of the tank untucked.  It’s opaque also, so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through.
These earrings (similar) go so well with the necklace, don’t ya think?  And here is another look at the Pink Dupe Aviators I detailed in yesterday’s post.  I like them a lot with this outfit, I think because they play off the gold in the earrings and necklace.
So, you can absolutely wear a strapless bra (I highly recommend this one) with this top, but I opted to wear a little bralette to let the lacy straps peek through.  It’s a sexy addition, but obviously, not over the top.
This bralette is the one I recommended in this bra and panty intervention (9 Must Have Undergarments) post.  I’m a 34D and am wearing the 34, so I’d say it fits TTS.  It’s super pretty and while not the most supportive, it’s so.much.better than other bralettes I’ve tried on and basically fallen out of! ? ? ?  This one I can wear and feel confident in.
Isn’t the double V-strap on the back of this top a nice detail?

For Look #2, I took to heart all of you ladies who told me you wanted to see more work appropriate styles.  I know your struggle to look good everyday is real and wardrobe creativity often wanes, so here’s a really cute, striped sheath dress that is great for work and can be worn so many ways!  I have another post coming up to show you several looks next week so stay tuned!
The dress is navy and white in case it looks black on your screen.  This sheath style is universally flattering and the material is nice and thick with a good bit of stretch.  The short sleeves make it a work-friendly shape too.
When I worked in corporate America, this style of dress and the wrap-dress were my two go-tos.  I think I liked wearing dresses more than pants because it’s just easier to put on one item and dress it up with accessories.  Plus, I liked feeling feminine and getting to dress up in dresses and heels for work- one bonus of working outside the home! Although the novelty of heels does wear off and I often kicked them off under my desk when I was working! You too??
I’m wearing XS, my normal size. It is a bit longer on me though I’m fine with it hitting just below the knee.
Treat your leopard shoe as a neutral (even with navy) and go ahead and pair it with stripes.  I’m carrying my grey clutch here, but if you wanted to tie the shoes in more, a black bag would do the trick!

I kept the accessories clean and simple in white to compliment the dress and not compete with the shoes.  I love the long necklace with this dress and navy and white is such a fresh, pretty combo!

Are y’all loving the leopard shoe as much as I am?! I hope y’all have a wonderful THURSDAY 😉 and I hope to see you back here tomorrow for a roundup of Outfits Lately!

p.s.  I’m currently working on that annoying tech issue you may be having where it jumps you to the bottom of the post when you first get here.  I’m so sorry for that!  Hopefully, it will be fixed soon!
