Christmas Red Sweaters & Shoes

Happy weekend friends!  I’m moving slow today after our all girls, Favorite Things party last night. It was super fun and we’ll definitely be making it a tradition.  I can’t believe Jordan slept through 15 rowdy women laughing and drinking and cheering on their favorite things!  I was sure she’d wake up, but she slept right through! I’ll share all of our favorite things with you soon, but I had to throw out this honorable mention that got the most attention last night! 😉

I couldn’t kick off the holidays (it’s December already!!) without sharing some festive red looks with you!  Now is the perfect time to bust out your red lipstick and sweaters and get this holiday month started on the right foot!  In fact, both looks today, I’m wearing these sassy suede red heels!  I wore them all Spring in the nude color, but now red is so appropriate. I’ll link more fun holiday heels at the bottom for those of you with an eye toward holiday parties!

I found your coziest red knit cardigan (with pockets!) at Nordstrom and it also comes in a pretty neutral, ‘mocha’. The sizing is S/M or M/L and I wish it came in petite, because it’s almost too big for us petite girls, but the look is meant to be on the slouchy side.
I’m wearing it with my Fave U-Neck Tank, size US 4.  I bought this tank in 3 colors a few years ago and it’s held up so well even with frequent wearings and washing.  I like the neckline and hem because it’s unfinished and the shape nips in at the waist a bit. Definitely a good buy!
Adding a pop of leopard is always a good idea!
But what really says holiday are your red heels! This pair is a gorgeous suede sandal (on the high side) but with a bit of a wider heel so they are easier to walk in than a stiletto.  I wore them last night too!  They look especially good with white nails.

Did you recognize these budget-friendly bootcut jeans from this post with the thin turtleneck or blouse and faux fur vest posts?  They are so comfy with that stretch, but that’s also what makes you want to size down in them.  I’m in 0P.

And what are the holidays without a silly Christmas sweater?!  I had a green snowman last year and looked like a snowman too! and this year I chose red.  My son loves it when I wear this and it will be perfect at my friend’s White Elephant party in a couple weeks.
Dressing up your Christmas sweater with a statement necklace, black skinny jeans and red heels makes it feel more adult, but still playful.  I told you I was crazy for this tote in red!
Isn’t he cute?!  Nordstrom has tons of cute Christmas sweatersthe elf is adorable!

This sweater runs small, so size up, I’m in size Small.

I know it’s sometimes hard to find a proper shoe for your holiday dresses, especially if you opt for a metallic number!  I like this one or a simple strappy heel like this is always classic.
