I Heart Blog Readers & Vera Bradley Event Recap at Macy’s
In Houston, if you see me running around, please don’t hesitate to say hi! Even though you might have to do a double take because now with baby, I’m often out and about without makeup and my hair on top of my head with spit up on my shirt, but I’ll still be so happy to say hi and give you a hug! And if I’m with James, I can tell him, ‘See, people really do read my blog!’ I never lose sight of the fact that, without you choosing to spend a portion of your day here, I wouldn’t have the opportunities that I’m blessed to come my way.
We chatted, mingled, and Vera Bradley was giving away the Large Duffle Bag that comes in 10 patterns and colors.
Vera Bradley Sidesaddle Crossbody Bag
I fell in love with the Vera Bradley ‘Bohemian Chevron’ print. It’s the perfect Fall pink color and fun pattern. You can find it on everything from totes and cosmetic cases to umbrellas and travel mugs.
I’m partial to black and have the Vera Bradley quilted tote that I also always travel with because it’s nice and big and super durable.
My tote is similar to this one (but larger).
The Scottie Dog print is so cute and you can find it in the store.
Meet Megan
Hi! I’m Megan, mom to a thoughtful teenager and spunky young girl. We call Houston home and recently moved into our dream home. I traded my lawyer hat to become a full-time blogger in 2010. I love sharing my passion for affordable fashion, home decor, organization, & fitness to help inspire you to take care of you!
I meant to comment to you yesterday but will post it here instead. My James just turned 15 and he still doesn't really like to have his picture taken. He does better if its a professional vs me but bribery of ice cream always does the trick.
I may have to resort to bribes too! He loves the pink cake pop at Starbuck's – maybe I can entice him with one of those! Love that we both have James'! 🙂
I was gifted a quilted Vera bag years ago, and it was the perfect baby bag. Now my daughter (4) uses it as her suitcase for sleepovers at grandma's house!
That's so sweet! I'm waiting for the day Jordan wants mommy's purses! #yikes!!
I love every single items in the phots:D thanks for sharing!!!
Hope you're having a great day, friend!
Was that a Vera Bradley scarf? Btw, your hair looks beautiful!
Thanks so much Susie! Yes, it was in the store but I couldn't find it online. That pattern is really fabulous!
