I Heart Blog Readers & Vera Bradley Event Recap at Macy’s

Thank you so much for your kind comments on yesterday’s Winter Wonderland post! One of the coolest things about blogging these last 6+ years has been making friends with other bloggers and YOU!

In Houston, if you see me running around, please don’t hesitate to say hi!  Even though you might have to do a double take because now with baby, I’m often out and about without makeup and my hair on top of my head with spit up on my shirt, but I’ll still be so happy to say hi and give you a hug! And if I’m with James, I can tell him, ‘See, people really do read my blog!’  I never lose sight of the fact that, without you choosing to spend a portion of your day here, I wouldn’t have the opportunities that I’m blessed to come my way.

Last Saturday afternoon, I hosted The World of Vera Bradley event at Macy’s, getting to meet and greet y’all, who are just as giddy about holiday shopping as I am!

We chatted, mingled, and Vera Bradley was giving away the Large Duffle Bag that comes in 10 patterns and colors.

One of Ms. Oprah Winfrey’s infamous ‘Favorite Things’ this year (didn’t you love watching that show? I’m still nostalgic for it!) is the Vera Bradley Sidesaddle Crossbody Bag.  It comes in three colors and is the perfect size with an adjustable strap.

I fell in love with the Vera Bradley ‘Bohemian Chevron’ print.  It’s the perfect Fall pink color and fun pattern.  You can find it on everything from totes and cosmetic cases to umbrellas and travel mugs.

Especially useful is the Hanging Organizer.  I can’t live without it for traveling- I’ll use it for jewelry and makeup and also little baby things I don’t want to get lost.  It zips close and has a convenient handle for carrying.

For your preppy side, Vera Bradley’s Sofia Plaid might be your thing.
Of course, people are always crazy for Vera’s playful prints, like this Fall’s ‘Bohemian Blooms’ in a combo of pink and magenta.

I’m partial to black and have the Vera Bradley quilted tote that I also always travel with because it’s nice and big and super durable.

My tote is similar to this one (but larger).

The Scottie Dog print is so cute and you can find it in the store.

Thank you so much for coming out and saying hi!  You make blogging so much more fun!

  1. I meant to comment to you yesterday but will post it here instead. My James just turned 15 and he still doesn't really like to have his picture taken. He does better if its a professional vs me but bribery of ice cream always does the trick.

    1. I may have to resort to bribes too! He loves the pink cake pop at Starbuck's – maybe I can entice him with one of those! Love that we both have James'! 🙂
